Please let us know what is the reason it gets stuck
Where is the coolant screw?
saludos desde Venezuela. tengo una te410 y no se a cuanto regular las vavulas.???
E siamo in due🤝
Whats the black think u put the jolt into ciz i lost that whole thing
why did you replace your rocker arm?
What were the symptoms you were experiencing that led you to this problem in the first place?
@Sean Coker, what was the problem finally?
Great video
Did you ever figure this out
Did that gave you some issues during starting bike up?
Has anyone found a solution... my bike has the same problem and I can't seem to find the cause
What torque rating should the lock nuts be? Or should they just be tightened to feel? Also what torque should the 2 bolts holding the valve covers on each side be tightened to? Thanks for any help.
I know this is an old video but I think I have a similar issue but my kicker seems like it doesnt engage everytime like it should after finding tdc. I can watch the stator and it doesnt always spin the same speed. I took mine apart and installed the updated bushing. My bushing came right out but I did not know at the time to check the inside of the basket over good. I assumed if the bushing wasnt seized and I replaced it I was good. Was your bushing seized up? What all did you replace?
How did you fix this?
Marshy I removed and replaced my clutch basket. the clutch basket was warped and that was the cause of the binding.
What would cause clutch basket warp? Worn out plates? Low oil? More heat..?
@@aronPru2660 I've never seen a clutch basket warp but I'm not a bike mechanic. Most common form of wear on a clutch basket is they become notched and the disks and plates will drag and not freely release. If the basket is warped it needs to be replaced.
Hi what clerance valve clearance?
where did you got the rocker arm and how much had you paid for it?
How do you know when its time to adjust your valves...Im a newb and about to buy my first Husky
in my opinion different size of teeth...
002" feeler gauge, motion pro makes a 002/003" feeler gauge set that is small and angled and easy to use.
Kind of like for Porsche 911 air cooled engines.
Hy i am Antonio and i want know how much is a registration of valves, please
Not exactly sure how to make sure im at TDC on the compression stroke. any idea?
Put bike in 6th gear and remove sparkplug. Place a Phillips head screw driver into sparkplug hole. Slowly rotate rear tire. The screwdriver will raise and fall as the piston travels up and down. When the piston is at the top of the stroke the screwdriver will be at its highest point. Now check to see if that you have play at the valves, meaning you're now at top dead center.
Thanks I did that but had to do a little research to make sure I was at the compression stroke but it helped
Squid WithGear all that maters is that the can lobe is not touching the rocker assembly. You probably have 120 degrees of rotation on each lobe where you could check valve clearance. Its easiest to check valve lash when you're at top dead center (tdc). It doesn't matter if you're at tdc on compression or exhaust stroke.
+Squid WithGear compression stroke you can find when piston is second time in TDC, next after TDC with intake valves play(it was an intake stroke). In this position valve clearance is max, by my experience. Next time i intend to buy the Husqvarna T.D.C. control tool - 800090875 for confidence
I replaced the clutch basket and sleeve and the problem went away. That's why it would turn fine sometimes and bind other times. What is your bike doing or not doing?
What did you come up with for this? i seem to be having a similar problem
The clutch basket was out of round/warped and that was causing the intermittent binding/non-binding problem. I replaced the clutch basket and bearings and all is well again.
I used the following products: Simple Solutions RGB800 Grunge Brush, DuPont Teflon Chain-Saver Dry Self-Cleaning Lubricant, 11-Ounce and Finish Line Dupont Degreaser for Chains and Sprockets - 11oz. Can. Total cost is <$30 and total time is <15 minutes. It's best to clean your chain prior to adjusting the chain.
Seanjj I'm not sure what you were told but your bike will have a valve clearance or lash which needs to be maintained. If you're not sure that the previous adjustment was done correctly just start over and follow the instructions on the video.
*he told me he just tightened the adjust up the where in meets the valve.. Not sure if I'm wording that right but he didnt know what I meant when I meantioned the little metal spacer thing
Would it need to be at top dead center if he's adjusting and movein the nut and screw
I've told me he just have to tighten them up. Don't think he used that little thin piece of metal to space either..
seanjj2009 the piston doesn't have to be at top dead center (tdc) to check the valves but putting the engine at tdc allows you to check the intake and exhaust valve clearances at the same time. And any other portion of the engine cycle you would have to check the intake and exhaust valves separately. This can be done anytime in the crank rotation where there is a noticeable play at the rocker on. If there is some play you can check valve clearance there assuming that one or two degrees on either side of that play doesn't cause the valve to open slightly.
Is getting the piston to top dead center something u should do for sure. Having someone else do my valves and I don't think they did that...??
there is a lot of truth in your comment troy.
the right side of the ingine
Review implies u talk about the bike
i saw you're selling the bike now.
i'll never die!
it's badass, now go experience some urban dualsport. enjoy
I now own this bike.
Glad you're okay! Gotta watch out for that pavement.
there's a lot of truth in that statement.
my names 1 letter different
open the drain screws located at the bottom of each carburetors' float bowls. you should see lots of fuel spilling out when the screws are removed. if not, then your problem is that you're not getting fuel to the carbs and check everything from the carbs to the gas tank.
mr fecal breakfast, yes i had removed and replaced the cam chain at the same time so there are more parts removed than you would have to remove to adjust the valves. heck, i can do this without removing the radiators or coolant
Thanks man.
