You know when i first saw this anime i was like was this following the events of that movie BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE(?)(True Story lol)but was i the only one!? And FYI WATCHING IT AGAIN!(BLOOD+)But what do y'all think?🤔

I think says favored Riku over Kai. Because he begged to be changed, she refused, but she changed Riku right away. Then when Riku died, she lied in hajis arms and said "why Riku" poor Kai. But I'd probably do the same. Why that little boy.

Also, I can't believe the person who composed this theme was also the composer for the film "Twister". That totally blew my mind when I found out.

This song is what introduced me to this amazing anime. I was searching for opera style music like this and that's when I came across Diva's theme. Couple of the comments I read about the anime were interesting so I decided to give it a look. Best decision ever.

Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer really elevated this show. There are plenty of good animes out there, but as I said to a good buddy of mine, a great score is what separates a good anime from a really great anime.

so I'm going to be the person who says this... I don't know why I'm the first to say it but...... This is a reference to a character and song on in this 90's movie called The Fifth Element..... The character's name was Diva and if you listen to the two songs they sound pretty similar especially in the beginning...

Reminder that Diva never knew happiness or love. From the day she was born she was thrown in that tower and treated like an animal for 30 years. Of course she would become a perverse and twisted person. She never had a family, and that was all she wanted. Even her chevalier weren't loyal her. Amshel manipulated her and only viewed her as an experiment, Solomon betrayed her for Saya, Nathan knew that Diva's blood had lost its power and knew she was gonna die, Carl was obsessed with his desire to kill Saya (he could have cared less about Diva) and it was as if James was the only person to ever be loyal to her. All Diva wanted was to find happiness. Never did Saya stop and try to understand and help her little sister. Saya had EVERYTHING from the day she was born. She is utterly selfish, and I was completely devestated by Diva's death. Her entire existence was tragic.
