I used to see you when I was - considerably younger than I am now - what a band this was. Hats off to you Michael Turner.

Both MT and I were managed by the same guy when I changed bands from Harlem to Chrisma Michael's voice blew me away then and seeing these great clips of Michael brings back great memories of us playing together. That was when Johnny Taylor was in Michael's band. I would love to make contact with these guys again.

Hi ,Thanks for your upload and comments , John Taylor is alive and well and lives in the Gippsland area and is still a great guitarist .It was sad for me when he left the band back then Lobby Loyde had a great respect for him as well . Regards Michael.

Thanks to Blelke Peterson so many Queensland bands never made it because the state was seen as so backward by Sydney and Melbourne record labels. What ever happened to John Taylor the original guitarist ?

I was in a duo with Michael Turner back in 2002. He sang and played acoustic guitar and I played electric lead guitar. We used backing tracks for a totally full sound. Every gig I had goosebumps going up my arms all night.

Yes you're right and it also hosts Qld's No1 ball (Corporate Show) at the Tobruk Pool . The Qld. State Govenment rate it the No1 Society event on their list as the Premier and Governor both attend. The week long event apparently injects 8million dollars into the Nth. Qld .economy. Cheers.
