I feel so happy listening how deeply she cares about Palestinians. Its amazing how all of us 2-3 billion people transcending borders have them on our hearts and in our prayers constantly. Its a great feeling of oneness 🇵🇸

An interview like this is challenging because one can easily give answers that will direct the non muslim further away from islam. Yasmin tackled it well.. The way Kavitha worded her questions and respons to Yasmin’s answers were also admirable. Because this could quickly become a heated debate otherwise..

I've been a fan of Ustaz Nouman ever since his videos started popping up on my FYP. I’d love to attend one of his talks if he ever comes back to Malaysia, really want to experience that! His personality is amazing, and he's so eloquent in delivering his da’wah message. Plus, he’s super relatable

Nouman Ali Khan left the chat group with Sheikh Uthman and Eddie from the Deen show in order to weasel out of discussing the permissibility of music in Islam. That is so weak.

09:13 Sometimes it can be that our heart is allready corrupted and damaged by haram things we have been consuming in the past. This might have caused emotion to be turned on low pit, it might have caused tightness and emptiness around the chest. I found that music can be very harmfull to our heart for example, but it can be any other haram act. We need to detox our hearts. And this could take a lot of time and effort. Change doesnt happen over night. Imagine you have been a faithfull music listener for ten years, dont expect your heart to be detoxed after one week praying all sunnan prayers. The haram act should first of all be banned. You have to replace it with an act of worship and force yourself to be steadfast. Lets say you want to make doha prayer a new habit. If you miss a day, make up for it next day and pray 4 rakaat doha instead of two. You have to push yourself but not aim too high otherwise you will most likely give up. Start with eliminating the haram acts, and each year try to add a new good habit to your daily practice. Take your time, but make progress even if it is little. This will allow your heart to revive and you can reach a feeling of intense peace in your heart.

Steps to connect with the Quran: 1. Document your questions regarding the ayat youre reading 2. Find tafsir(s) or scholars that may have access to it 3. After knowing all the history behind it, the language analysis, historical analysis ask this question: “What does Allah chose this ayat to me?” Wallahua’lam ❤
