On our regular saturday lunch, one of us suggested visiting the Puri and Konark Temples that weekend. Everyone tagged along, and after a 12-hour journey, we reached the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, one of the four sacred Dhams of India.
The following day, we visited the Konark Sun Temple, renowned for its architectural brilliance. Both the temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his Jagannath form and the Sun god, representing significant aspects of spiritual divinity in Odisha.
We concluded a blissful Deepawali Weekend filled with blessings and satisfaction from these two sacred sites, embarking on a wonderful 2-day journey during our stay in India.
