Phillip Yancy wrote about 'Grace Notes'. Basically he is telling us that some musicians add abundantly notes to cover up week composition and help lyrics and music flow. Not so Ben Slee and his wonderful accompanying musicians. I have always found that he bases his songs first on doctrine, his accompanying music is as simple as it needs to be. I find that the whole ensemble identifies with the music and our uplifted by it. Thank you for the blessings we listeners gain.

Love this modern version of a great hymn that I we will introduce shortly on a Sunday as it is very singable. Love the additional bridge to. Brilliantly sung and played by those who clearly know what they are singing about. Thanks so much and keep finding other great hymns to restore that will enrich our praise and enjoyment of Jesus.
