Troys LH Torana on the dyno. He fitted a MSD Atomic EFI throttle body to his rebuilt 304 Holden v8. The engine was rebuilt by Lonsdale engine Worx. Flat top pistons. Large Hyd Flat tappet camshaft, VT 304 heads, MSD Distributor with digital 6al. We test fit a 1 inch Areoflow spacer to test results

We had the pleasure of tuning this Ford BA Barra XR6 Turbo. The engine had a rebuild with forged pistons and con rods, with the basic supporting modifications. The Transmission was a MV Automatics special. Dave from DJ Autos fitted the Proboost gtx 3582 Tuned with HP Tuners

interesting what was the theory on going a set of cath heads on a gen4 ls2, I went a different way my LS2 is the L77 I've used 823 square port heads they have been ported for Turbo the exhaust ports are huge, I went with 413 ci but went with JE flat top -5cc, Manley rods all forged bottom end 105mm TB sheet intake 5" intercooler 4" from Turbo to TB, 5 1/2" dump to twin 3", twin 50mm wastegates 3" cross over pipe 98mm T6 Turbo it makes a whisker under 1600hp, when I was sourcing parts I was going to build a bit like yours but after talking to people in the know said change things, and it wouldn't go where I wanted, its not on kill yet as few things I want gearbox and injectors wise, the fuel system was a money pit to fuel the monster its all Aeromotive pump and reg 10lt surge -8 each side of the fuel rails and -8 return 2500cc injectors its had only the good stuff that was eye watering parts cost

Interesting, maybe you should have tried a split plenum spacer or a full open as well for comparison ,shear spacers like the one you used generally are good on single plane manifolds not sure it was the best choice food for thought anyway, good presentation regardless. 👍👍👍
Looks nice! I'm assuming G-35 1050? What size rear housing? Any issues holding boost, or concerns with turbine wheel back pressure?
I think from memory it is a 1.01 rear housing. And yes correct it is G35-1050. No problems with holding boost. 50mm external waste gate, everything floes perfectly.

The chassis dyno measures wheel torque not engine torque

Driveability with the stock tune seems bad in my VF manual SV6. The throttle just seems unpredictable and doesn't always match the input you are giving with the pedal.
The stock tune has some issues but the supercharger made it terrible

It's called tuning mate. Sometimes the spacer will pickup power, sometimes it won't.

X exhaust only gives you 5 extra Hp at 7000 rpm . all that work for bugger all . removing the fan belt from the crank pulley and powering everything off an electric drive will gain you 21 hp at 7000 rpm .
I must have been living under a rock for the last 61 years. I learned of the Holden a few weeks ago and now I have another car to add to my list that I'll never be able to own in 1/1 scale...lol. If you're looking to replicate one of these cool Holdens, hit eBay up and plug in 3-D printed Holden model kit. There's two different body styles and in two different scales offered up on one sellers page. Awesome car and I love the shade of green. They remind me a bit of a Vega mixed with an AMC Spirit?

Hope this dude knows that his engine rods and BTR 4 speed are going to explode in less than a year at 20 psi.
This engine has a forged piston and rod combo and built btr is now getting swapped out for a built t400

Just to be able to turn it up we are putting the btr into a ef barra conversion
@@donkeyracingengines I actually heard you can't really even 'build' a BTR ? Is this true ? I've seen so many stories of people using 'built' BTR's but still failing.. is it just a shithouse box with no strong parts ?
@@ashcosmo3854 they seem to blow up whenever they want, though in my belief not many people know how to tune BTRs properly, just read the PCMTEC forum a few people playing around with the tuning
