You use the white mans technology to air your Programm, live in a white mans country, work for a white man and when its time to praise God you suddenly cannot praise him in English. There is nothing spiritual about communicating with God in only Yoruba There has to be a balance, inasmuch as i love yoruba songs myself and I'm partly Yoruba i must tell you the truth. For celestial church to grow we must integrate all languages into the church There's no such thing as pentecostal way of worshipping God. What you call pentecostal way of worshipping God connects more to the world than your yoruba way of worshipping God
You're in UK to win souls for God not to protect a Nigerian custom and tradition. We want to see persons of all races in celestial church of christ White, black, chinese But not when you yorobanize everything God established celestial church of Christ as a global institution and we must not make it a stagnant water because of our prejudices. If you don't want us to talk, stop airing your service live
Well said I have that issue as well should be diversified not only Nigerian
whoever is deleting my posts should continue ua-cam.com/video/hXgrLsOLzKw/v-deo.htmlsi=W4oyhcbEMkbA0QWs I'll continue to tell you the truth Celestial church of Christ is a global institution, not an afenifere meeting
Thank you Lord God almighty Jehovah for all blessings and protection in Jesus Christ Mighty name amen
Please hymn number
Halleluyah)In your presence is fulness of joy,and at thy right hand there are 🙏 pleasure forevermore (Psalms 16:v11) This is one of perfect of48th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving I have ever witnessed from Elephant and Castle Church, I mean the Celestial Church of Christ London) And also once more during baba Sheb lifetime) May the Holy Father continue to give the choristers more knowledge skill and wisdom, and lastly may the Holy spirit of the LORD from heaven above continue to be upon us ,abide in us, and with us all in the mighty Name of Jesus Amen)
Your harvest was great. We saw Rainbow at the back of the church building. Meaning harvest is accepted
Miller Larry Wilson Anna Young William
When early Christians brought Christianity to Nigeria, they recognized the need for interpreters to communicate effectively with the local population. Speaking only in English would have limited their reach and hindered the spread of their message. The use of interpreters allowed them to seamlessly connect with their audience and facilitate understanding. Let's be honest, if they had only spoken in English without providing interpretation, would they have made any converts in Nigeria? The answer is clear. The use of interpreters was crucial in sharing the gospel and expanding the Christian community. Moreover, do we think that only Yorubas are meant to be members of the Celestial Church of Christ? Or that White people and other Africans are excluded? The truth is, the Celestial Church of Christ is a global institution, and the body of Christ is far more extensive than any single language or culture. One day, you may find yourself preaching to a diverse audience comprising South Africans, Kenyans, White people, and others. Then, you will realize that the Celestial Church of Christ is bigger than any language or cultural barrier.
Today's church service was engaging until the evangelist's ministration. Despite the secretary's announcement that all officiating ministers should communicate in English for the benefit of everyone, including live worshippers, the evangelist chose to disregard this instruction. It's disheartening that he prioritized preserving the 'unaltered Nigerian celestial doctrine/culture' of ministering in Yoruba over the need for inclusive communication. What's more concerning is that the evangelist is proficient in English but deliberately chose to communicate in Yoruba, even though it's clear that not everyone in the church understands the language. He didn't even allow the interpreter to translate his sermon, essentially talking to himself. As Apostle Paul advised, speaking in different tongues without interpretation only edifies oneself. Preaching in Yoruba in a UK church with diverse tribes is akin to speaking in tongues, as it fails to communicate with the wider audience. Celestial Church of Christ is a global institution, not a sociocultural group or an Afenifere meeting. Conflating the church's doctrine with Yorubanism is mistaken. If you want to join a sect where only Yoruba is spoken, join a sociocultural group. Celestial Church is a body of Christ, and the gospel should be preached in languages that everyone can understand. Some evangelists are the problem in celestial church yet they preach as though they're saints. Why would an evangelist prioritize the doctrine of indigenous communication in Nigeria over effective communication on a global stage? We should focus on preaching the word to all and sundry, rather than preserving traditions and cultures that have no bearing in Christ. It's unacceptable to preach in Yoruba in a UK church where every tribe converges. If you're proficient in English, use it to preach the gospel. This tribalism must stop, lest the wrath of God falls on you.
So inspiring
