Think of a bullet, throw that with just your hand, would that kill somebody? No. Now make that bullet go at sonic speed with a gun what would happen? More force which means more damage. The flash can literally inflict serious damage and would end any fight in an instant if not for the plot because he is literally faster than time and has even outran death and the erasure of creation. The flash can also just phase through you and rip your heart without you even knowing. No version of superman would even compare or even defeat the top 5 fastest flash variants.
