    God bless you. Thank u for talking about this. By your testimony, you are set free....in the name of Jesus. It feels like they put a new chemical in weed that is close to a chemical I've felt off of LSD.....things seem brighter, u see more details as you explained, feel like ur on the outside looking in. I said a prayer for u. U aren't alone, Jesus is with you. Ur doing great.

    For those who got way too high and felt like they were stuck in a dream, I was in the same situation a while ago. Don't overthink it, stay chill, do sport, eat healthy, drink a ton of water, etc. It'll probably be gone soon, trust me. Also caffeine really helped me for some reason. I still smoke from time to time and I'm careful to not green out and take it easy. This together with a energy drink helps me to not have bad highs.

      Hey man I lost the account to this UA-cam channel but I can respond to you with this one. Yes I have fully recovered. I know you may feel like this feeling is permanent because it feels like there is absolutely no way to feel normal again but that is not the case. I have recovered and you will to. One tip I can give you is for you to make sure you don’t keep your self isolated from everything. I would do that at the start because I thought that the feeling would just be to overwhelming to do anything but stay in my bed. You must go out and do everything like normal. It may feel uncomfortable at the start but it will teach your brain that there is nothing to be scared of. This will have a very positive impact on your dpdr because your brain will train itself to not always be in that flight or fight response. I really hope I make sense when I say this. Sorry for the late response

      Hi this is Alex using another account. So weed isn’t the main factor of dpdr. It may trigger it if you already have a underlying anxiety condition. This was the case for me. Smoking weed wont make your depersonalization worse from my experience. When I still had dpdr I tried weed again to see if it were to reverse the effects. I had another panic attack and woke up still feeling dpdr but not any worse. I won’t tell you what to do but if you recover and try to smoke again you might fall into the loop of dpdr again. Smoking it while you have dpdr won’t change much but stopping weed may help you recover faster(this is my experience with weed and dpdr it may be different for everyone)

    Hey everyone, I hope you are all seeing this. I lost my account to this channel but I would like to tell everyone that I have recovered from this nightmare of a condition. I got into university and after I moved into residence my condition started to fade away. I feel like it was the switch in my lifestyle which really helped for me. I was so focused on school work that my brain completely forgot about the condition. My weird vision is finally gone and I can say that I am completely recovered. I still have anxiety but that is something that I was born with and I don't feel the need to take any medication for it because I will be tampering with my brain and it could make things worse. I know that if I can recover, everyone can. So stay strong and you will recover I can promise that.

      Sorry for the very late response. Impulsive thinking and hearing your thoughts is a common anxiety symptom. Don’t take it from me because I’m not a doctor but hearing your own thoughts is common with a lot of people with anxiety. If you go into loops of thinking it’s ocd which comes from anxiety. So I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in a high anxiety state may fall into these loops of their own thoughts.

    Going through this rn and thinking about making a video abt this as well because even though there is a lot of videos out there watching them is the only thing that really makes me feel sane. i also feel like most people still are unaware that this can happen from weed and anxiety. it all started for me about a month ago, i smoked everyday for about 2 years with none of this ever happening until one day everything changed. i went on a vacation and just being in a new place and smoking just triggered it, i started to have serious full blown panic attacks everytime i was smoking. i know i should’ve stopped after the first one but i didn’t have any clue as to what was going on and used to think weed really helped me. after i got back i thought everything was fine since i was back home and i smoked that day and had the worst panic attack of my life. i thought i was going to die and told my parents i was having a heart attack and they calmed me down but after that i have been living with this constant dp/dr. it’s so hard to explain to people that haven’t gone through it and just feels like i am going crazy. but i am now on the road to recovery and in therapy. i also have been taking lexapro which i find does help because i have had anxiety my entire life. i still have episodes of dp/dr but i have hoped to fully be past this one day. thank you so much for making this video!

    bro weed triggered it for me i hope i get better. how long does it last :(. i keep telling myself maybe weed caused a chemical imbalance but i think thats anxiety making these things up.

    • @alexdobro6271

      Don’t worry about no chemical imbalances. Your brain just put you into a temporary anxiety state because it saw weed as a major threat. Now you just have to do everything that you used to do before(not including weed) and you’re brain will begin the recovery process in no time.

      Its anxiety and it all mental . I find that if u learn how go just relax & accept it , itll go away & strange enough u end up missing the feeling lol. Just gotta be mindful of the state ur in mentally when smoking . Im just now learning how to enjoy weed again. Kinda gotta go back in & face ur fears

      Don’t worry. I don’t want to diagnose anyone but usually when you have schizophrenia you feel like nothing is wrong with you. If you feel like something is off it is almost certainly dpdr triggered by anxiety.

      @@zyro8283 I completely understand. The entire condition is based on you overthinking it. When I first got the condition, it was the only thing I could think of. The best thing you can do for yourself as of right now is keep your brain occupied and distracted so that you brain subconsciously forgets about dpdr. Thats not how this works lol. Sometimes weed causes extreme paranoia which can cause a huge and dramatic/traumatic panic attack hence the reason why “bad trips” exists. And since a traumatic event happened, sometimes your brain can slip into depersonalization/derealization because it feels the sense of the trauma that occurred. Its really just a waiting game rather than a “think happy thoughts” scenario because sometimes you become emotional immune to it

    • @alexdobro6271
      @alexdobro6271 3 роки тому

      I agree that weed isn’t what causes the disorder but rather a gateway to a panic attack. The panic attack is what will cause the state of dpdr. Avoiding weed will just lower your chances of panic attacks. Weed reacts with everyone’s brain differently. That’s why I think it’s crucial to be aware of what weed is capable of triggering for some people.
