Quick & Easy Chicken Kafta Kebab Recipe - A Kids' Favorite Snack with Punjab Spice
Chicken Kafta Kebabs are a delicious and flavorful dish that’s loved by both kids and adults. This recipe is not only quick and easy but also packed with the aromatic spices of Punjab, making it a favorite snack for all ages. Kafta is a minced meat kebab, typically made with ground chicken, mixed with a blend of fresh herbs and spices. It’s perfect for serving as an appetizer, a light dinner, or even as a fun snack for the little ones.
Ingredients:
Ground chicken
Greated potatoes finely chopped
Onion, finely chopped
Garlic, minced
Ginger paste
Green chilies (optional, for spice)
Ground cumin
Ground coriander
Red chili powder
Garam masala
Salt
Black pepper
Oil (for grilling)
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with finely chopped potatoes & onions, cilantro, garlic, and ginger paste.
Add in the spices - cumin, coriander, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.
Smoke the mixture for 5 min
Shape the mixture into small oval or round kebabs with your hands.
Preheat a grill or skillet with a little oil.
Cook the kebabs for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
Serve with a side of yogurt or a fresh salad for the perfect snack
