Why PORTUGAL is such a great place to visit!
what month was this..doesn't look like tourist season..??
I lived in Hagerman back in the early 80's for a few months. I worked at a trout farm called Vally Trout. They closed and there was no other work to be found. My ex-brother-in-law lived there his name was John Lagle.
I agree that it is very difficult to get ocean view reservations. BUT...people do cancel.
I think you need more time in the gym.
@@ejmtnt that’s nice of you to say. Thanks!
Also less stress on your truck when you slow down...
When I was a kid, we stayed here at the resort.. probably '97-'98, before the 'hotel' was restored. Me and my dad walked through the place and let me tell you, it was SPooOOK-Y. Not just because I was a kid either! I remember a moment after viewing some of the old medical chairs on the second floor, there was a dark abyss of barely visible doorways and we heard some extremely strange noises --enough that I could sense my dad tense up a little bit! We loved that kind of stuff though, so we ran out of the place laughing...but it was no joke for neck tickling, shake your knees, not-so-good feelings. I think the smell of the sulfur also added to the eeriness. That, combined with all the layers of old paint on every surface, oxidization on all the pipes, old clawfoot tubs, medical equipment...animals. Absolutely one of my favorite memories from my youth!
I highly recommend checking out the Interpreter Center you will find a lot of history of the Oregon Trail. It is well marked with road signs.
Does this place have cabin rentals? Looking for a pretty area such as this that has cabin rentals and RV for big family camp out. Some family members want to have a place to ride ATV’s and razors. If not need suggestions.
I miss home. I love Depot Bay and Otis. You have some space. There are also spaces at the lake in Lincoln City to rent. Chinook Winds Casino. I miss yall🌹⚓❤️🔥

I really appreciated this video
Been back and forth on Andersen for some time now. I tow a 7k lb Rockwook ML with a Silverado 1500. Currently have a Weigh Safe original (BIG one) hitch that performs wonderfully. Tows like it is on "rails." Five weeks ago I had spine surgery. I am recovering well but my mortality and future limitations have been reaffirmed. The WS is just too heavy. Q: Is there room to lower the tailgate when connected?
I’m literally just done with my first drive with this hitch and it’s given me so much more confidence and control over the road. I haven’t tried to uninstall it yet but I think it’s just a breeze.
It's haunted I know for a fact
Oh wow...sounds like there's a ghost story in there somewhere! Thank you for the feedback. :)

What campground did you stay at?
Sorry I just clicked on your Idaho Voyager page and got your update from 5 mos ago, Thank you looking forward to this C/G opening. My wife is from Buhl and we travel through this area.😀
Hi there! Glad you found this video and hope you'll have a great time in the area.
Any new info on the Billingsley Campground opening? thank You
Why doesn’t anyone ever show the tent spots? I’d love to see those
AWESOME! Just another place for us to try out with our ATV's. Love your videos!
Thank you so much! I hope you have a great time on your next ATV adventure!
New sub here, I have to say, this spot is AWESOME! I figured it would have been swamped with people but it isn't. We love places like this. Putting it on our list to visit. I will be checking out all the places you go so we can find new adventures to experience and so far your channel is on top of our list to do so. Our channel hosts a different type of adventures that Idaho has in the off-roading world and we need something new. Looking forward to more videos from you guys. Thanks
Thank you for the kind words and glad we could help inspire your next adventure! We hope you have a great time at Kirkham. Thank you so much for subscribing. :)
Very informative and helpful. Do I need to remove the batteries for the winter on my 1475 if I have a rooftop solar system? I'm not planning on covering the RV, but what is your opinion on covers, in general, if the RV is going to be stored outside? thanks, Bob in Walla2
Hi Bob, thanks for visiting our channel and happy this video was helpful to you. On the batteries, it would depend on what kind of batteries and what your temperatures look like outside. As for the covers, I would say generally speaking, it's better to have it covered if stored outside. Of course, a lot depends on the weather conditions you're facing and other factors.
I just saw this. Well done. It dove tails well with out 2024 Lance1995 TT. Question: where did you buy the low valve drain shut off valves?
Hi there. Thank you so much for the kind words and I'm happy this video was helpful for you. I purchased those valves on Amazon and they have been excellent. I big improvement. Search Amazon for the following: Loc-Line - 32092 Coolant Hose Component, Acetal Copolymer, Valve, 1/2" Hose ID, 1/2" NPT Male, 100 PSI (Pack of 2)
@@IdahoVoyager Thanks so much for replying. I wasn't sure I'd hear from you since this video is from 2 years ago. So I went ahead and tracked down the shut off valves and bought them from Amazon. Thank again for posting this!
There's likely a way to effectively relocate or extending that so long as it's placed correctly in a slightly lower location as it is a gravity feed you may want to check with a local RV technician good luck & be safe ps I love the trailer
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate the tip!
Idaho voyager, this is a great video, and we are considering the Lance 2075 trailer. I want to ask you, do you guys find it frustrating that there’s not more kitchen counter space? Also, does the shower curtain control water from getting all over the bathroom floor? Thank you for the answers on this.
Hi there! Thank you for the kind words. For us, the kitchen isn't an issue because we like to do most of our cooking outside. With that said, the 2075's strong suit is not the kitchen. We purchased the 2075 because of the amazing bedroom and the fact that the dinette is at the back with windows on all sides. With any RV, there are trade offs. We haven't had any issues with the shower and the curtain contains the water just fine. We have additional videos you may find helpful in our 2075 playlist. Thanks for watching!
Quick question....where did you find the quick connect valve?
Not sure I understand which quick connect valve you're referring to?
This is just down the road from me a few miles. I love living in the Grande Ronde Valley. It’s so beautiful. The only thing to be aware of in mid-late summer is the possibility of smoke from wildfires. Unfortunately, it’s become part of our summer for the last several years.
Thanks for stopping by! yep, smoke and fire is always a concern and was especially bad in 2024 :( With that said, we love the Grande Ronde Valley! It's one of our favorite getaways out of Boise.
What class of room did you book? We're looking at the same cruise next year and I love the idea of that big balcony.
Hi there. Thank you for stopping by. We had a balcony state room. We were fortunate, because the room we were assigned (we didn't get to pick it) had an unusually large balcony for it's class due to the location on the ship. Immediately next to us was a utility room that wasn't occupied by passengers allowing our balcony to effectively double in that space. It was fortuitous for sure. With that said, a regular balcony is still very nice. Hope you enjoy your cruise as much as we did! :)
@@IdahoVoyager We ended up booking an aft balcony room so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for responding.
@@dakotapie I’ve heard aft balconies are great! Hope you have a wonderful time.
As sign manger at another RV park, viewing this video has given many ideas for more signs at my park.

Hi there! Thanks for visiting our channel and happy we could help. Hope you enjoy your cruise as much as we did!
Can you back the trailer with the hitch attached and engaged? Thanks for the reply in advance.
Hello and thanks for stopping by our channel. Yes, I can back up the trailer with no issues. I try to avoid really tight bends but have had no issues.
I bought these and forgot all about the dish soap but they did snap right in to the pad. ❤
Hi there...thanks for stopping by. Glad they snapped for you :)
Cut the shut off valve off. Put a 90 on the end and extended pipe to where it’s easily accessible. Replace the shut off valve at the end, and your problem is solved.
Thanks for the feedback!
The 2285 his exactly the same!
EXCELLENT, COMPETENT AND THOROUGH STEP BY STEP VIDEO... I now have confidence with completing this task!! THANK YOU!!
Hi there...thank you so much for the feedback and really happy that this was helpful for you.
I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. Honestly if that Tourag has a properly set up weight distribution hitch, and is towing that airstream, I would suggest it would be a safer tow than your truck and trailer combo. Several reasons for this. For starters both the Tourag and the Airstream have much lower center of gravity than either your truck or trailer, so in an emergency situation there is no doubt the Tourag/Airstream will be much more nimble. Secondly trailer handling problems are often caused by wind conditions. The Airstream is so much more aerodynamic than your trailer (or mine for that matter), and will be less of a sail in any wind condition. Of course the Tourag is also much more aerodynamic than a pick up. Personally I tow a Cougar 26RBS with an F150 Powerboost, and with a well set up wdh it is an excellent tow combo, but put me in a slalom course or an emergency situation where I need to avoid something like a deer, and I would rather be driving that Tourag/Airstream combo without a doubt. I do love my combo though, for the space it provides us in the trailer and truck. As an aside, the Tourag/Airstream you show does not look like it has a properly set up weight distribution hitch. Not enough tilt on the ball is leaving the bars way to close to the trailer frame at the chains and is clearly not transfering enough weight to the front of the vehicle. It needs adjustment. continued happy and safe travels....
Thanks for your input! I appreciate your perspective.
completely agree with your philosophy here. Personally I don't use cruise control though. I like to be able to ease off on slopes etc. For me the sweet spot seems to be between about 55 and 65 mph. When I hit 65 is when the fuel really starts to burn. Every truck/trailer combo is a little different though, in terms of drag, gear ratios, tire size etc. Keeping speed down definitely protects the wallet, and does not really take much time out of cocktail hour either. safe travels....
Thank you for your feedback.
Great video, very helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to make this winterization guide. Where did you get your refrigerator airing cards? I have a 2020 Lance 2075 but do not have the cards. Thanks
Hi there! thanks for the feedback and the kind words. I friend of mine prints them on a 3D printer. I have a video describing how they work and how to buy them. You can find the video be searching our Lance 2075 playlist.
Can truck run this trail?
I don't think so. It's more of an ATV trail, although UTV's are okay too.
Awesome work on the campground review! I wish you started this channel 20 years ago. Keep up the good work.
Hi there! Thank you so much for the kind words and happy that the videos are helpful for you.
Just move them.
@@chriszonie2444 easier said than done ☹️
@@IdahoVoyager No, not really. It's Pex. I moved mine and added regular 1/4 turn valves. Maybe a better answer is: "Extend them to the edge of the trailer"
Hey David how do you turn on the 2 _ _ | / ○ \ | upside down "L" LED light \\ // strips on the lower front ° of each side of the tongue? Are they nighttime running lights?
Hi there...thanks for stopping by. For the LED light strips on the lower front there is a switch inside the front storage space on the trailer.
@@IdahoVoyager amazing! You know i never switch that switch! I always assumed it just turned on the light in the compartment. Thank you!
What milage do you get with the tundra when pulling your 2075? I have been looking at possibly getting one. Currently pulling with an FJ lol and we get around 10mpg
I don't have a Tundra. I have a Nissan Titan and have posted a few videos on my milage while towing. You can search to Tow Tips playlist. I usually get 11-12 when towing if I keep it around 60-65 mph.
Can u reverse and sharp turns with it still
Hi there...I can reverse no problem. You can also make pretty sharp turns (if necessary), but I try to avoid sharp turns as much as possible.
Just saw this review. Just bought these tires and was just wondering why not go the full 80psi while towing? Just curious. Thanks
80psi is the MAX. I'd rather not go to the max and it seems like 60 is firm enough when towing.
We hadn't heard any news in a long time, so I called the visitor center this morning and was surprised to hear the campground has opened. It isn't listed on Reserve America and there's been no public announcement. For now you have to call the visitor center for availability. We'll drive by on the way home from a weekend trip to Richfield. I assume they may still be finishing up, hence the soft opening. I'll report back after we stop by.
@@sowelljohnw Thank you so much for the update!!
