Thats an absolutely gorgeous run! Boy those packrafts handled it great, kudos to the paddlers of course. Loved that roll that was done somewhere in the middle of this clip. I am getting my pr self bailer this week sometime and am really stoked. Couple of questions for you if I may: one, what length paddle are you using, and two, does having a loaded dry bag mounted on the bow affect performance? Thanks a lot, super vid.
hey, thanks man. My paddle is 200, I'm 5'10. Charl in the red boat is probably a 197-200, can't remember... but certainly not the 210-230cm paddles that some folk get to packraft. With thr bow bag, yeah it defo impacts how well the boat paddles and it's center of gravity. The best bet from that perspective is a proper bow bag. These are watershed dry bags which are super versatile but probably upset the performance more than bags made specifically for packrafting
