Down in the bottle dump, pulling out a sign!
A lid to piece of pottery..?
LOOKS LIKE A FISHING LINE WEIGHT, FROMTHE 1940S OR 1950S.
Was this crafted from stone? Or was this actually wood then petrified?
@@wifeswapperbg7 steatite Hard stone
Indian sex stone,!,,,,,just a fu_____ rock.im not serious
Is it made of stone or pottery?
@@billroberts9182it's made of hard stone. Steatite possibly .
I tried to look up boat stone but a speaker company has that name and squat. Where is a good site to find out about boat stones?
@@glenstribling6123 this is a link to Peach State Archeology. Its local to Georgia where I found this at. www.peachstatearchaeologicalsociety.org/index.php/9-hardstone/128-boat-stones
I found something remotely similar. I got it inspected and they said it was prehistoric, from the stone age. Apparently they were capable of doing this. Thre are probably more stones like this that were created by stone age people. probably if you compare all these pieces the combination makes sense. I thought it was a weight, on a fishing net or a small container for fire or to enhance the woman beauty.
It's a netting weight, a fishing net weight.
DO NOT PUT IT BACK !!
Maybe a lid. Wonder if there is a bottom half?
It’s definitely an adult weight sometimes they hollow them out and people think they’re both stones, but they hollow them out to fit where a branch was on the handle of the ad which keeps the weight from moving back-and-forth and it was tied in three holes and then one line went up over the top and tied back to the ad itself Awesome awesome job well done. Good luck in the future.!!!
Part of a sling shot.
It's an ancient COVID mask. Congratulations on your find, now go and sanitize your hands.😂
Thanks for the tip
Google native american boat stone
Boatstone! Wow look it up
Small trapping device, part of an articulating weapon
It's a drool cup. Joe Biden has a whole collection of these in addition to the modern plastic ones he wears.
That's definitely a native american boat stone, a very nice piece.
It is a container for salt used while cooking. It hangs around the neck. You will have to go back and look for ballast stone that hangs from bottom to keep it from tilting when she leaned over fire. The stone may be shaped like a hourglass or round with a hole in it.
“I don’t have any idea what this is.” Yet is confident enough to declare it ‘the find of 10 lifetimes’.
@@CarlosBenjamin exactly. How often are these found? I am confident to say these are not found in my area on a regular so.....
Looks like it could be a pipe for smoking when they have a pow wow around the camp fire!
That’s a better than usual boat stone . More detail put into that than a lot of boat stones . And it’s not broke! Congratulations !
It's a scrotum cozy
I don't think its a Banner stone. Pretty cool!
Paint bowl mix oil an charcoal
It would help to know the area it was found. I know you won’t share this but it would help complete a story. If you have a university nearby with an archaeology department, go talk to someone. Many of the answers on here sound okay but…. They also sound uncertain.
Ask AI
Possibly that could be part of an overhead Sling, similar to what David killed Goliath with.
It's a doohickey that goes with a whatchamacallit, I'd recognize it anywhere!
It's a cup/pouch for a slingshot
I like your idea
No way.. they wouldn’t use stone for a slingshot!..
Looks like it’s part of a sling that holds the projectile.
you all are wrong, that's a primitive fishing lure lmao.....
Honestly it looks like a pully. Insert a round wooden piece and it would work as a line pully 😍
Kinda of looks like a ceremonial chin ornament. Worn on the chin for religious purposes. It's extremely old. You should have kept with the dirt still in it, to have been able to do a carbon 14 testing. That would have given you a time frame.
The local university archaeologists likely would tell you what culture produced it - each culture has a time frame.
I think it's a hammer.
It looks like a cup for a sling
It’s a textbook Native American sport cup.
its a bow string tool. To tighten the string on bows . the type hair they braided together was course and could cut the fingers so to avoid cuts they used a stone .and it takes quite some time ware the rock down like that .
The beautiful landscape. Walking along the shore of the lake, finding those beautiful rocks, make this moment an elx for the soul. BLESSINGS TO MY FRIEND.
The site should be properly excavated by archeologists. Are there any in your area? A university perhaps?
It’s a pulley for a scale.
I found one very similar to that one, and I believe it is a boat stone.
A boat stone you say.....t.y. for your professional input !!
A Bell 🔔
IPhone docking port for sure.
what a connection with the past.
I'd say it was a cup that could be worn with a leather strap.
Maybe a tent peg cord tension adjuster?
Tent peg cord tension adjuster..........I just can't take no more :)
Maybe it’s the bowl of a pipe.
A baby bottle? It will sit on the groove. The little holes pour liquid
That's a great idea - it could actually work for that.
I made that just to confuse all yall.
