@@f_shit Hey Michael , depending on the frame you have it's very likely an option. Best thing to do would be check the manufacturers site to see if the measurements are listed so you can see about sourcing one from a common company such as FSA or something alike. Otherwise you'll need a set of digital calipers or last option would be to bring it to your local bike shop to ask. What frame do you have and what year ?

No problem! The fix for my bike ended up being rather simple and only ended up needing to be torqued back to spec to solve the noise. But for others there could be a few other possibilities, could need a cleaning /greasing for the headset cups and bearings It could also be a damaged headset Or possibly a case of a cheap material like plastic being used for headset spacers as they aren't ideal for any bikes that takes a punishing on the trail. Are you sure it's your headset ? What you're describing almost sounds like it might be related to your bottom bracket. Try taking your crank apart, remove the bottom bracket , BB area on the frame, re grease , inspect your bottom bracket before re installing it , make sure to clean any dirt and such. Re- install everything, torque to spec and test it on a ride.

The creaking is coming from the front. I just took it for a ride around my neighborhood and again the creaking sound is whilst I’m pedaling, and it sounds like it’s coming from the front part of the bike. I’ll clean the bottom bracket like you recommended but I don’t think the creak is coming from there. Thank you for replying, it’s a pain trying to figure this out 😆

@@masanchez34 how old is the headset ? And what kind of headset style is it ? Threaded , press fit , integrated? You could essentially do the same steps mentioned for the bottom bracket but for the headset. Another thing to check might be to put your fingers around the lower headset area / fork crown , hold the front brake and rock the bike back and fourth . If you feel loads of play you'll likely need to replace bearings or the entire headset depending on what you have . Or it could simply be a little loose which could make noise when pedaling perhaps. And no problem at all , I know it's hard to diagnose noise problems at times !
