My goal is to spread the gospel by sharing the word of God and telling people about themselves and Jesus Christ. We must be told that we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; therefore, we are worthy of the righteous wrath and judgment of God. BUT God so loved the world that He sent his Son; Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ became like us, and He willingly gave up His life by being crucified. He died, was buried, and He rose again on the third day. Because Jesus was both God and man, and He was perfect (sinless), He was able to take God's wrath upon Himself in our place. Because of this, if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and repent of our sins, we will be forgiven. It is a free gift that Jesus Christ offers us. There is no work that we can do to be deserving of God's forgiveness. We can only trust the work that Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. Repent of sin, trust in Christ, and be ye saved!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 A similar verse is Ephesians 5:20. It should be noted that this verse does speak of giving thanks "for all things". The context is a bit different, and yet the meaning appears to be the same. Again, I don't think it means that we should give thanks to God when we sin - that seems quite absurd. With that as the example, there are certainly things that should not be given tha...

For a breakthrough understanding of the Book of Job… read the novel “Where Do We Go Now, LORD? - Burke. Now, are leaders in church & seminary open to higher ground? Not much? Well, Moses was! Enjoy the breakthroughs!
Im an atheist and have read every religious text going, but this is my favourite of how Job sits under the tree and curses the day his mother bore him as I have done everyday of my life, I've never cursed God or Jesus, I've always cursed my birth and the desire for my brother to be born in place of me, I have sinned and am a sinner, there is no redemption for a man of my stature. I do not curse God, I curse the day i entered my mothers womb and I curse the day he brought me to life
Hello, John. Within the "religious text", have you ever read what the Apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy 1:15? 1 Timothy 1:15 KJV This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. It is good to acknowledge your sin, but there is no value in staying there. Go to Christ. Trust in His atoning work (death/resurrection) upon the cross for your salvation. He saved the Apostle Paul (one who persecuted Christians and blasphemed God), He saved me, and no doubt He can save you if you trust in Him.
@MrTheophilus I have suffered terribly with my mental health and physical health and I've begged God for help and forgiveness and I wish he could sit and hold my hand with me and he remind me he's with me
@@JohnnyBoard95 Honestly, it is hard to understand since I don't know you personally. What I can say, however, is that mental/physical pain is a terrible affliction (and a very important one at that). The sickness, if you will, of the soul is far worse though, and it is far more important to take care of. This is why to cry out to Christ for the forgiveness of sins is of the most importance and urgency. I will say, though, that the moment you trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit of God enters in to you, and you can rejoice (even in the most difficult of times because God is with you). It is not a matter of "feeling" He is with you or having a certain "experience" of His presence. It is to know, because He promised, that He is with you. Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me.
Only the works of unsaved Christians are like filthy rags. When we are purified, washed and renewed by the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, God graciously accepts offerings from his own children. Most Christians don't understand Salvation: When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he made a new covenant for his true followers. He was able to send the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness and conquer the flesh nature to set us free from the practice of sin, and it's desires. I think it is possibly even blasphemy against the Holy Spirit when people deny the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness. The Apostle Paul said that we are not in the flesh if the Holy Spirit lives in us. 2 Corinthians 10:3 Paul also tells us that we have been set free from sinful desires: "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh." Isaiah 53:5 says: "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds WE ARE HEALED." Before Jesus came, the law that people lived under could not conquer the flesh nature. That is why people had to sacrifice animals repeatedly. The cleansing that God provides is not temporary. It is permanent. When he cleanses us from ALL sin, we are made righteous. Hebrews 7:27 says: "He (Jesus) has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself." When Christians repent of their sins daily they don't have the Holy Spirit. They are still living under the Old Covenant, because they can't get clean. Many Christians mock the Holy Spirit by saying it is impossible to conquer the flesh nature and stop sinning. They don't believe. They are watering down and diminishing the power of the Holy Spirit in their own minds & in the minds of others. They are mocking the miracle of transformation that brings us Salvation. People flock to false religion due to the corruption in their hearts. False Christians will dilligently search their bibles looking for loopholes to sin. 1 Peter 2:24 confirms that it is possible to stop sinning: "He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” When we are healed from the bondage of sin, it is permanent. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Scripture describes false converts as continuing in sin, because they deny the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." Scripture gives a strong warning of eternal damnation to those who reject the New Covenant by sinning: Hebrews 10:28-29 "Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?" God's grace does not free us to sin. It does not cover continued sin or future sins. It does not forgive deliberate sin. It frees us from sin. Ungodly Christians reject the gift of righteousness that God offers. False Christians cling to a doctrine of demons that tells them they get to keep their sins, and there is no penalty. This is much more appealing to false converts than the thought of giving up their sins. John 3:36 jesus said, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." If people can't understand the clear language that Jesus used, perhaps their hearts have become hardened. God, in his wisdom, does not leave us in a sinful condition, because over time, sin destroys the human conscience. When this happens, they are lost. We can see evidence of a darkened conscience and a hardened heart when people mock and ridicule the precious gift that Jesus gave up his life to bring to us so that we can recieve righteousness that is required for Salvation. When Christians reject the New Covenant, Jesus will reject them, and they will have to pay the full penalty that that the Law always required for disobedience under the Old Covenant. That means eternal damnation.
Hello. It has been a while since I posted this video, so I'm not sure what exactly is spoken. Nonetheless, there's a lot you spoke of here. I don't believe an "unsaved Christian" is a real thing. If people are unsaved, they should not be classified as Christian. I am confident that I never denied that Christ changes us (because that is not my stance). We are indeed saved by the grace of Christ, and He begins a sanctifying work in us. However, the thought of "filthy rags" is related to salvation. No doubt God is pleased when His people do what is right in His eyes. This, however, should never be associated with doing works to save ourselves. We are justified, freely by God's grace because of the Finished work of Christ. That, as far as I can recall, is the focus of the video. I would agree that "Christians" who live in sin without conviction or care for God's ways are likely not truly saved.
loving people that are trying to kill you is STUPID
Loving your enemies does not mean that you can't flee, nor does it mean that you must submit to them if they try to kill you. However, Christ even loved those who killed Him. When we see this example from God Himself, it is quite arrogant to say that it is "stupid" to love those who would seek to even take your life. Also, a love for your enemy would desire that they would turn from that wickedness and find salvation in Jesus Christ.

AND HE AGREED its stupid and places you in danger if you have to love someone thats trying to kill you FOR GOD DOESNT WANT US TO DIE for He gave us this life and does not want us to suffer at the hands of the wicked . GOD WANTS US TO LIVE A LONG HAPPY HEALTHY LIFE for if He wanted us dead then he could do that himself without any help from the wicked
@@edwardhill7045 There is a lot to unpack there, so I will focus on the main things. 1.) It does not matter how many dsicples there were because God is God. He does not need man to help him destroy the wicked. He does not need us to bring forth His kingdom. The jews fell into this same trap; thus, they missed Christ, the Messiah. 2.) When you speak to God, and He "agrees" with you by contradicting His word, it's not God agreeing with you. If it is against scripture, then you are being deceived. Let the word of God speak, and let us listen. 3.) In addition, God can keep us alive just as He could kill us. So, I don't see a correlation with your argument. 4.) The problem that you are facing, as the Jews did, is you're too fixed on this earthly life. Christ will establish His kingdom, yet our eyes should be fixed on Him and the life to come (not on this physical/temporal life)
I trusted in the Lord of Jesus Christ as my personal savior into my heart through faith alone, and not of works, by accepting his free gift of salvation, by his grace on February 16, 1996, each day, I confess sins for process of sanctification, to receive Jesus Christ as your personal savior, please refer to John 3:16-18:36, 5:24, 6:37:47, 10:27-29, 14:6, Acts 2:38, 16:30-31, Luke 15:10, Roman's 3:23, 4:5, 6:23, 10:9-10:13, Ephesians 2:8-10, and Titus 3:5. Love your page! It’s great that you’re spreading the word
While not religious, or even particularly pious, Job in all his struggles amazes me, especially for a man that lived before Grace. I still hold this portion of Job to be my favorite reading from the Bible, apart from 1 Corinthians 13, by which I still measure the way I conduct platonic, friendly, and romantic relationships
Job is definitely one of my favorite books. While this portion of Job shows his utter despair, it strengthens his view of God even more by the end of the book. Even in his utter misery, he was able to rely upon God, and I think that is the only reason Job was able to make it through this utter calamity. I don't know what you mean by "not religious", but I hope the examples in Job can help you to better understand our desperate need for God. Especially our desperate need for Christ as the One who reconciles us to God through His death, burial and resurrection. Also, if you're interested, I have a playlist on 1 Corinthians 13 (just in case you're interested in a deep dive in that chapter). Thank you so much for the taking the time to comment on my video!

Merry Christmas brother
Bro, I need prayer! I get tempted and fall into lust (and sometimes act on it alone) I don't want to sin against God. I want to be holy as He commands. I am born again! Just don't understand why my temptations are always of a sexual nature.
The lust of the flesh can be very powerful. When you get these thoughts, pray to God, and read his word. The Bible is the word of God, so it is powerful. Not only will reading it distract you, but it will focus your thoughts on God.
Hey Mark. I hope you are doing better in your fight against lust. I wanted to offer more biblical advice for you. I believe what I said in my previous comment is helpful, but it sort of missed the mark. When ever you get these lustful thoughts, you need to flee. We see this instruction in 2 Timothy 2:22. Get yourself out of that situation. If you are alone, get somewhere where you cannot commit the lustful sin. If you are in a place that you could fall with another individual, get away from that person. I hope this will help you to continue to fight lustful temptations. Have a good one brother.
Hey Guys! I hope you enjoyed the video. Just a quick side note. I realized when I was watching this that 1.) Impenitent is a difficult word to pronounce, so sorry for that and 2.) I pronounced exhort as extort. Please do not extort your brother xD. Love you guys, have a blessed day!
