Hi! I don't know if you will see this message, but this video was so helpful! I am super interested in double majoring in biology and sociology. I LOVE sociology and it's my main passion of study, but I see myself pursuing a career in biology so that's why i want to double major. Some people say your two majors should be alike--what do u think of having one in biological sciences vs one in social sciences (is it okay lol)? I really like how you said you can meet twice the community and that's what I would love to do and be able to see things through 2 lenses like u said!! Did u pick up/recommend picking up any minors as well--or is that way too much to add to ur workload?

Natalie: Thank you for sharing your story. I, too, double-majored, as an undergraduate student. This involved graduating cum laude with a double major in both English and Communication. After graduating, I worked in sports journalism, just before I became a substitute teacher, from 2017-2020. Thereafter, I pursued my Master's in Special Education. Furthermore, in December of 2023, I graduated with my Master's, and I am currently in my second year teaching as a full-time licensed special education practitioner serving students with severe and intellectual disabilities. Long story short, pursue your passions. Indeed, more education is always a good thing, during your undergraduate academic career. Indeed, you will truly find yourself along the way.

does taking a double major mean that your workload doubles as well? I'm in high school, and am graduating in a year. I found it hard as well to just stick to one area to study on when I have various interests in other areas. but I'm just worried if the workload will be too overwhelming?

Very nice. It looks like a simple wedding dress in the after (that’s a compliment). I’d make it shorter, puff the sleeves, and remove the tie backs and tailor it.
