Maybe I missed something but seems that the child has a lot of hate for his grandfather. My interpretation is that the boy was one of the 9 people killed when the building the grandfather build collapsed. The child being the first and only child of the parents cased ripple effects in all the relationships as losing a child can. The parents relationship turned south and they eventually divorced. The grandfather withdrew and became distant from his son. The mother after the divorce and loss of her child ends up committing suicide in the hospital. going to try to find more theories out there but do like some of them below.

What is the difference between classic and endless modes? You mentioned something about maxing out, does that mean classic goes to the point where the game end because all possible spawn points are filled up?

This ended is too similar to the let down in Lost. It was such a great game but left wayyyy too many questions to be answered. Leaving it to the gamer to decide what happened is a huge cop out. Very disappointed.

When the house is connected directly to the main road it doesn't count as an intersection, and the car on the main road can zip by. But when you have 1 or more road tiles connected to the main road, it is an intersection, the car on the main road will slow down when approaching the intersection regardless of whether there is a car on the secondary road or not. So when you have an auxiliary house connected to the main road that only helps out when the main neighborhood can't keep up with the demand, it is good to put a traffic light, usually on a 3 ways intersection, so the main road will always be green and cars on the main road don't have to slow down when approaching the intersection.

im actually really happy with the traffic lights. sometimes there are maps with endless traffic light use and i made my personal highscore on that map.

What about if you have a side road joining a main road? The only time I use roundabouts.

You don't need to care about single tile area around shops and houses since overlapping those areas on spawn is prohibited. Also I found that placing cross figures in advance near the lvl 2 malls and high density residential areas is helping a lot to have space for roundabouts later.
