ADE-Woodcrafts
Romania
Приєднався 4 лис 2020
Hi, my name is Cristian, I am a family man, therefore I have a wife (Daniela) and a little girl (Adelina). I started all this by making wooden toys for my little girl, then I made small chairs, tables and so on...From Adelina's name I borrowed the first three letters and named my channel (ADE-Woodcrafts). She is the reason why I discovered my passion for woodworking so I wanted to thank her in some way. I was born in '85 in Romania in a modest family and never had the chance to express my creative side till few years ago. This is a new experience for me and I would be really glad and thankful if you would join me!❤️WARNING:These videos are intended for entertainment and inspiration for adults over 18-year-old. Woodworking, woodturning and metalworking tools are dangerous. Always seek professional advice and training before using any power tools or hand tools! If you have any uncertainty before performing any DIY procedure, stop and learn a safer method.

As you can see, this log is close to the maximum length that can be processed on this lathe. (maximum length 1100cm) It seems to cope pretty well, so do I :). Thanks for watching and all the best! Dupa cum puteti vede, acest bustean este aproape de lungimea maxima care opate fi prelucrata pe acest strung. (lungime maxima 1100cm) Se pare ca face fata destul de bine, la fel si eu :). Multumesc pe...

Is it worth buying a wood burner if you have a soldering iron?
@@barbferniuk5039 Only if you have a lot of work to do. Otherwise, no. The soldering iron is a little slower but gets the job done the same.
Thanks❤️
Great job. My next projects will be Anniversary goblets for my married kids with interlocking rings, will personalize for each couple. Watching you do this clarified the process for me. Nice work with the skew chisel and I learned something new with using a light and final shaping of the cup from the outside for even wall thickness...and tennis ball to bring tailstock back into play. Many thanks!
God bless you brother, a very niche thing I wanted to know
So overall would you reccomend using a soldering iron as a woodburner?
If you already have a soldering iron at home, sure. But if you want to buy, just buy the appropriate tool for whatever job you have to do.
Given as a kit, it would indeed make a great present. Thanks for sharing.
Nice project, thanks for sharing.
MERCI VOUS ALLEZ FAIRE LE BONHEUR D UNE PT FILLE DE 3 ANS ....
Thanks for this useful video. I particularly liked that you gave dimensions / part numbers. So often the problem is not the dismantling but the identification (and sourcing) of the parts.
That´s great !!
This was so helpful! Thank you!
I don't understand why my pyrography tool doesn't burn the wood? Tried basswood, ply and balsa but it just scratches it. Has a heat setting up to 485c.
Assuming that the tool is not damaged or burnt, it must be held almost in place during pyro-engraving, depending on the humidity and hardness of the wood.
Of course, lubrication calms vibrations and extends the life of parts that wear out without lubrication, but from open holes, dust will certainly get inside that hole and cause more damage, it is necessary to put rubber bands as protection.
Wow, treaba faina!! Big LIKE de la Vienna! Abonat nou!🙏🏼😊✨
Mulțumesc mult!🙏
The only thing I like about this video, is the way you made the lubrication holes, the rest is a downgrade to the machine, if it vibrate a lot, which is normal for a scroll saw, make an iron stand and fix it to it, you will see a big difference. Thanks for sharing anyway
Thanks for the reply anyway :). I succeed making it in a way that it is functioning without vibrations, thus does not require bolting it down to the workbench. I consider this a great advantage and upgrade. I can move it around wherever I need it with ease. Most important is that I can make accurate cuts in absence of massive vibrations.(it is not normal for scroll saws to vibrate, maybe only the cheap ones like this one) Cheers and thanks for the reply!
Wonderful.
Looks awesome
Con tutto sto lavoro si perde la garanzia
Purtroppo sì, perdi la garanzia. Ma è una macchina economica, è probabile che si romperà comunque dopo la garanzia se funziona in modo inadeguato. Saluti e grazie per la risposta!
Great video. Thanks

Boa tarde, we have the same problem. Can you tell us where you purchased the replacement belt 102 XL. Obrigada

Great content brother
Great idea!
Cheers and thank you!
Thanks for this! As I have an old rework station my air side quit. Got a new unit for my electronics repair. Thought about using the old solder iron to burn wood.

What a great idea!! I will try this and see how they turn out! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!👍
Love the cat! I'm a beginner and this made me a little nervous on how close your fingers are to blade:) I think I will get some more practice under my belt before trying this. Thanks for sharing your video.
There really aren't many things to worry about, at most it will bite you a little but in no way will it hurt you seriously. You will get used to it quickly. I'm glad you like it!
I wonder how many people have the courage to open the machine as you did, and more importantly, how many people would drill as many holes on the arms as you did, as this surely weakens them considerably. It would also be interesting to hear what the manufacturer thinks of your ideas and modifications..🤔
Thanks for the comment! It's Actually not that hard to disassemble it, all it takes is a little bit of courage, the arms seems to be holding nice so far, if you look closely I drilled the holes only in between the triangles and that didn't affect the rigidity of the arms.🍻
@@ade-woodcrafts Thank you for your response ! Perhaps you can help me with this problem : I have a Proxxon DSH (V1), and for some strange reason, I cannot get a (pinned) blade into the mount anymore. I have loosened the tensioning mechanism completely, and pushed the upper arm downwards, but I still cannot get it down far enough to get the upper pin into the mount. It would be necessary to get it down another 3-4mm, but there is no further adjustment possible…🤷🏼♂️ Do you have any idea what the cause could be ???
@@zeejimi4044 Is there any possibility that the blades you are using are too short?
@@ade-woodcrafts Maybe you’re right : I’ve discovered that there are blades that are 130mm long, and some are only 127mm long, so I’ll check that ! I hope that Proxxon haven’t changed from 130mm to 127mm, as that would be a real headache for me..
Flowers at the door for the wife...... What did you do??? LOL Love that idea!
Well, just to make sure I didn't do something wrong to her!😂
The Beauty of it all being made by hand..... no computer even in the drawings! Fine Work!
Cheers and thank you for watching!
All time time I have been using my broom to clean up the floor...... Now I know what it is really for!
It really does a much better job than the wood shavings.
From America here..... I have been woodworking/cabinetmaking for 40 years..... but very new to Lathe work. I am in practice now but working up to making Table Legs..... and your video here with the small detail tool has taught me a lot on the details I want for my legs. The long tool are easy to control but not as maneuverable. Thank you for the Education!
I am really glad I could be helpful and happy that you liked the video! Thank you!
As far the mess after turning on the Lathe..... My German Wife hates the mess...... but loves what I make. Then it is less messy with her! LOL
I totally agree with you, the things that we are capable of creating with the help of the lathe makes it totally worth it!
Salutare,super faină vaza🤗

Very nice work! Burning looks great!
Thank you very much! I-m really glad you mentioned you like the burning because in my mind I had some doubts about how it all goes together.🤗
@@ade-woodcrafts very nice chainsaw work also! I can never get cuts that straight!
Thank you very much! The truth is, I don't know how I managed to cut so straight either.😂
Foarte frumos ,Felicitari ptr acest videoclip !
Features not bugs 😉
Those "features" almost ate my entire woodpile😂 Thanks for watching!👍
Felicitari si un mare like !
Multumesc mult!👍
That's a serious lathe my friend! 😎
Thanks for watching! Yes, its size has proved to be very useful over time. What makes me most happy is that I can turn legs for big tables on it.👍
Thanks for sharing, I picked up a few tips. Would you mind letting me know of your opinion on the Bernardo ? I am looking to upgrade & my local supplier have them on offer
Hey, I'm glad this video is useful! I have had this lathe for some time, unfortunately I have not had the chance to work on others but I can tell you a few things about it. The best thing about this lathe is the variable speed which makes it very versatile, the next thing is the ease with which it operates, you can change the speeds on the go, another interesting and useful thing is that you can rotate the motor assembly at different angles up to 180 degrees.
The only downside I've found so far is that it doesn't have the rotation reversal for finer sanding.
