It is. If things go well i can make it so the engine upgrades actually improve the drift cars acceleration unlike the normal game. Its also possible to increase how fast you can drift around corners but theres currently speed retention issues

I'm using Cheat Engine to slow down time to get really good runs. Thats makes it a tool assisted run

Depends on the car. I was purposely shifting late because this cars turbo only activates at higher RPMs. So me shifting as late as possible seemingly helped the car go faster. Just using manual the game punishes you with a slower shift (unless its perfect), but with manual with clutch it doesn't.

Great question. This video was supposed to be a proof of concept. With the plan being i'd release it as part of a massive rework mod. But considering how many people want it. I'll see what i can do :) (will take me some time to do tho)

I don't have advice for keyboard but for xbox box controllers i use the left and right hat switchs to jump to gears 5 and 6

@@DragunovDio tool (external program) assisted speed runs of the drag events with cars on stage 4 upgrades.

For the purpose i'm using it for. 1. Start cheat engine and the game. 2. Click the magnifying glass icon, this will show a list of programs for Cheat Engine to effect, Select Prostreet 3. Now you can enable speed hack and precisly control time. Bonus. You can also set up hotkeys by going into the edit section of the program

It further increases car weight reduction and drag reduction. However this isn't the case for all cars

What the OP said, but also adds downforce to the car helping you keep your wheels on the track and making turns easier

@@LouisWong-wb3mk The cars just end up drifting slowly if you seemingly strip it away completely. I hope to look into other ways of getting around into the future

Don't sweat it! Thank you for taking your time to reply. I wouldn't mind it at all because this would improve my experience on drifting in PS. Is it coded around the Challenger only or does this work on every RWD car that you bring to events?

@@richardEJ6 That is the idea. I hope to allow AWD cars into the events too. And i want to re-use some grip track layouts as drift. And reverse layouts
