I wouldn’t want to be a cop because the training might lead me to act like other cops. Imagine having a job where nothing much is happening, and you’re bored. To break the monotony, you end up harassing someone, then get paranoid and call in more cops to back you up. It’s a lose-lose situation. If only the training focused more on preventing unnecessary paranoia.

I watched a Auditor video yesterday and the guy walked into a Sheriffs office. The Sheriff told him anytime they get a service call they can demand iD. If the person refuses to iD they can arrest them immediately. Of course the Auditor argued that you need RAS. The Sheriff said it’s a state law to arrest people who refuse to iD during a investigation.

You’ve been auditing for years and for years you say this is unbelievable. When are you going to learn it’s believable? You have to know by now cops egos are believable.

These ignorant cops need to be enrolled at their expense on their off time into basic law classes and constitutional law for at least 40 hours. That can be a week long instead of work or 5 Saturdays consecutively. This is the cheapest way to get these officers up to speed when they screw up!

Good job News Now Patrick (NNP). Public employees must keep in mind the facts that: They work for the people, that their wages, taxes, insurance and retirement pension are paid by the people and that the nice, comfortable, Air Conditioned/heated building we provide them to work, belongs to the Taxpaying people. Therefore, they stop being so territorial, contemptuous and arrogant toward the Taxpayers they work for. If they don't like being videorecorded, they should quit that job and go to work in the private sector and see if their employers will allow them to act so rudely toward people.
