OMG. I just noticed that we have met in VRchat... Ya the one protogen I saw standing AFK in a club some time ago with the ya windmill blades out of ya nose that I spend about 5 minutes on following in circles =^.^=. I talked to ya later and ya had cool protogen voice <3. Again, thanks for this music and video, got some people asking me what kinda music this is already, they liked it. :) And I personally really like the clip :) Hope to see more of ya!

@@StrawberryProtato If it is ok to ask - Do you have any tips for where and how I could get started? I have looked up some videos, but most of them use some sort of controller, which I could invest into a really beginner one.

@@nickatorimi6926 Whoa, I missed this. Sorry for the delay in responding. Getting started? IMO, you should focus on basic EQing, tempo/beat matching, key matching, and phrasing to start. There are LOTS of vids here on UA-cam that will show you the basics (don't get hung up on what controller or software they're using; the principles are all the same, the buttons are just in different places), but I found DJ Carlo Atendido's basic vids to be VERY informative. That said, I already had an audio background, so a lot of it was just mapping what I already knew to deck functions. If you wanted a controller, there are a lot of very cheap options, like the DDJ200 or the Numark PartyMix, but IMO you should pay a bit more and go with the Pioneer FLX4, the Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX, or the Traktor Kontrol S2. It really depends on what software feels 'right' to you. TRY THEM ALL!

Thank you for the kind words! It's a message that is very personal to me, having lost several friends over the years to the struggle, and having nearly lost others. Some of the scenes will always make me cry and get emotional because they're based on my own real experiences with fighting against the darkness, despair, and memory+thought distortion, and how it all piles up and builds, and the internal fight we wage against the belief that it can all end, that we WANT it to end, that it's the only way. I wanted to show that through music and visuals, and I'm super glad that people are getting it.
