It's sad, they weren't even old enough to live their lives to the fullest. Eren and everyone around him such as his friends had to grow up really quick, they all witnessed many gruesome deaths and lost most of their family members/ friends at a young age and had no option but to fight as it was their only option to survive. Everyone in aot needs therapy omg
