@@nicolemarie011 hi and thanks for your feedback! I have two Mythographic books - one in the original English version, and one in Dutch. The paper is vastly different between the two. I recognize the toothiness you mention in the English version, while the Dutch version is a bit smoother, but in a good way. If you like the illustrations but are having trouble with the paper, you may want to try buying the Dutch edition? Not sure how widely available it is in the US, but if you want to look it up, the publisher is MUS. LOL😄 I don't know why they use such bad paper, but ordinarily I find the UK or foreign versions tend to have better paper and construction than our US counterparts. I really wish the Book Depository hadn't closed down. I use to go there to get UK versions of coloring books and reading books. Free shipping and great prices. The UK also (in my opinion) has better looking covers on their reading books. It is a bit too pricey to order from Amazon UK or from other Amazons for me. I do appreciate you listing the link though. @@colourandthecity The "Ecolápis" is a differentiation of the brand to warn that these pencils were made with maximum sustainable management on eucalyptus and pine wood production farms and own factories in the States of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Furthermore, the pencils are produced with a quantity of lead, pigments and dyes that are much smaller than conventional ones, which gives them certification from the FSC, which is an international sustainability fund. Not to mention that the They make the paints and dyes with food coloring to avoid any risk of contamination of the soil and also of those who are using it.

Because of this, there is a huge of products that only exist here and were developed here, such as TK rubber, which has a layer so it doesn't get dirty and doesn't tear in any way, not to mention that approximately 95% of what is manufactured here stays here.

Making your own rules sounds great! 😊 I also know what you mean about the spooky pages, October is a month full of choice when it comes to coloring themes. I’ll be skipping Halloween coloring this year. Johanna’s new book is also coming out end of October, so I was thinking to jump straight into that early November.

Hi Leigh, thanks for the suggestion! The thought crossed my mind as well, but I’d already started looking into all three books and by that time I was committed to my original plan… but just like you I realized eventually I could have done it with fewer than her three books. On the other hand, maybe it’s a chance to get some coloring done in all of her books, and maybe someone has one book but not the other, so at least they can follow along in part. I appreciate you offering the idea!
