Приєднався 13 бер 2012
The Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF) is a science-led and knowledge-based charity who has been putting animal welfare at the heart of veterinary science and education for the past 40 years. Through and leading impactful debates and conversations at all levels, AWF identifies and tackles animal welfare issues, always pushing for higher standards in the UK. Our aim is to deepen understanding of animal welfare and inspire evidence-based actions so that all animals can enjoy a better life.
AWF was established from a legacy left to the British Veterinary Association (BVA) in 1983 and was set up as an independent charity to directly support the veterinary profession, promote best practice and drive improvements in animal welfare.

its 👍 called 🥰 laminitis 😩
Hi, it is a very useful video, I learned a lot from it, thank you! I have a few social media channels in China and I’m collecting these professional and educational videos about horses from the Internet. Would you mind if I translate your videos into Chinese and upload it on Chinese social media to help horse lovers beyond the sea how to take care of horses in a better way? I need to keep my channel running so if you didn’t notice this message in 3 days, I will upload the translated video on my channels. But don’t worry, when you see this and disagree with it, feel free to message me back or email me (thehorsetime@outlook.com). I will delete it as soon as possible. Hope you are well at this time, and no matter what decision you make, I still learned a lot from your video and thank you!
I like it
WoW, very knowledgeable Gentleman.....Thanks for sharing!🙂👍🏼
It is important to remember that 95% of laminitis in the UK is metabolic in origin and whilst caused by long term diet resulting in metabolically alive fat cells, it is not caused by the short term intake of fructans which are fermented short chain fatty acids before being absorbed in the small intestine of the horse. Horses need to eat less calories from all types of feed not just grass, but equally important is to ensure that their dry matter intake is maintained.
What happened next was a mandate to microchip dogs that is causing adverse events of 0.1% including chip failure, migration, abnormal mass and tumor formation, rejection, infection and death, under the pretext of Animal Welfare The Dogs Trust that lobbied for them is experiencing a rise in shelter death. The benefits they are claiming are mostly fraudulent and were actually achieved through spay/neuter programs. There deceit is promoting these harmful electronic devices for implant in pets all over the world, at the expense of spay/neuter programs. My community experience rising shelter death and a rising stray population. It is a horror. Find out more - chipmenot.info/pet-microchip-information/#betrayal
