Creating a Personalized Keychain Using Embrilliance Essentials, Brother PR1055X and Brother ScanNCut
In this video, I demonstrate how to create a personalized keychain from start to finish. I design it in Embrilliance Essentials, Embroider it on the Brother PR1055X and then cut it out on the Brother Scan N Cut. Finally, I will insert Kam Snaps and add a swivel hook.

Thank you so much for this video. It is the first one I have found that has solved my problem. I've tried dozens of times to get my square knots to hold and they won't. But, my knot would not go through the needle. What size needle are you using?
I use the 80/12 or 75/11. I always find that I have to tie that one extra time after the first square knot to be sure it will hold. Also keep the thread taught as you pull it through the needle. This works 95% of the time for me. There are those few times when it won't go through and I have to cut and thread by hand.

I am loving your channel! I notice you are using Snowman Stickers...Do you know that Embrillence will print the Snowman "Sticker" on the center of our design when we print it? Saves a lot of money and time. :) Just go into the settings where we choose the hoop, etc, a "click' the box for it to be included in the printing of the design...
Yes, thank you for that. I actually showed that in a video a while ago. That would have been a better idea for the towel but I didn't think of it as I have so many stickers and sometimes it's quicker for me to use those.

Unless another company has come out with their version. Because I’ve had that for absolutely years and Marelli was the only ones that sold it when I bought mine.
That contraption with clips as far as I know, comes from Marelli Enterprises. And it wasn’t created to go over something that thick is why it’s hard to get on. Those are quilting clips to put two pieces of cotton and batting together.

Hi sue. I have the 1055x machine too. I see you use a 8x9 mighty hoop I tried to use the same one but it keeps saying to use a larger hoop. I could see that the design will fit and I always check the side with the machine. I know that this a different product that brother uses. Have you had this problem?
I have not had this happen but I did with a different Mighty Hoop and found that if I moved the frame just a little making sure the hoop still fit, the machine accepted it.
Also, make sure all three screws on the frame are tightened. That enables the machine to read the frame size. You likely already do that but I've had a screw get loose and not realize it right away.

Can the Scan N Cut be used to cut borderless (no white surround) stickers using the scan to cut feature?
I have not done that yet. It would depend on if there are clear borders of some sort around the sticker. Scan it in and see what shows up as the cutting lines.

Have you got any advice to make the magnetic hoop sync to the machine. When I load the hoop and a design on screen is central, the hoop is not centred. X
There is no way to link it to the machine as far as I know. You have to manually center the hoop.

Thank you for doing this video. I use the same towels and have been having a hard time hooping it for embroidering using MH. I use the 6.25x8.25.
