I can't recommend this enough, guys. Never did I think white water rafting would be something that I was interested in. When I finally went to the Ocoee, I was hooked. Planned my next trip the following weekend. Looking in to taking some kayaking lessons so I can just kayak the Ocoee.

I've organized large group trips with this company for years, as many as 130 people. My group is usually vast majority first time rafters and we always walk away pleased with doing business with ocoee rafting. The guides do a great job keeping our guests entertained while providing a safe experience.

We used Rolling Thunder out of Mcaysville and we really liked the guides we had. They steared us through all the rapids w/o any calamities and we had a few weak links on our raft.

We had a wonderful time there.

I have not seen a rafting company that did not dump people Including High Country. Stuff Happens in whitewater. I have spent countless hours filming and photographing the Ocoee River fun. And yes I have rafted with several companies. Sounds like you are just trying to plug High Country. Ocoee is a great company to raft.

Did I just see the "guide" swim double suck?! I LOVE CARNAGE, but if you want a safe ride go to High Country.

IF you fall off just keep calm. Struggling will only move your body more down when you're in the water. When I fell the wave knocked my helmet off and I of course was freaking out underwater, looking back though if I stayed calm the life jacket would have done it's job easier and faster without me moving around. Found the helmet down stream too! :)

I'm going rafting in Ocoee for the first time August 11th and after seeing this I'm a bit nervous... What should I be prepared for?
