How to Build a Concrete Block Wall with Comfort Block
Comfort Block is a much faster and more efficient alternative to building with traditional concrete block and mortar systems. Once you have a level base, the precise height of Comfort Block keeps your wall plumb and level with only masonry adhesive.

Step 1: Laying a level base course is the most critical stage of building with the Comfort Block system. Standard mortar may be used to overcome any excessive variation in foundation levels. If you’re not an experienced mason, a mortar leveling kit makes it easy to establish a perfectly level surface of mortar. Just line up the two levelers with a laser and screed mortar between them. Ensure that the base course is level horizontally and along the length and width of each block, and that there are no steps between each block.
Step 2: Once the base course is leveled, apply at least two beads of adhesive on top of the outermost and innermost walls of each block. The interlocking sides of the blocks eliminate the need for vertical adhesive. The working time of the adhesive is about 5 minutes, so you can glue and place several blocks at once for faster construction. Repeat until all courses have been laid.
Step 3: The Comfort Block systems have an integrated electrical channel, so the electrical system can be installed after constructing the wall with no need for furring and drywall. Simply use a masonry saw to cut a hole in the block and insert the outlet box.
Step 4: The Comfort Block wall system MUST have a finish on the outside to ensure that the wall remains weather tight. A cement-based plaster finish such as Universal Umaco 1023 can be used as a finishing coat on the interior and a base coat on the exterior. Exterior finish options include cement stucco, architectural finishes such as Parex, thin stone veneer, and external insulation systems.

is stronger than cement?
Can we use white cement on external wall of AAC block instead of ciment plaster as doing in vedio
I’m not sure your 2 man method is really that much quicker. The person gluing shouldn’t have the other person hold the stone, and they shouldn’t be watching while he applies it to the wall.
And for how long does the foam retain its stickiness? In ten years' time, will the wall fall apart?
Sausage, insert, tube, couple of pumps, easy cleanup. Got it.
Yeah that's much nicer than applying cement. Would plaster work for outdoor walls as well?
Yes, absolutely, I love to plaster (stucco) outside. Got my plastering from LIME Works in PA, looks great
show off! How did you prep the wall? what kind of plaster ,,, anywho
right? did you wet the wall ?
What is he using????
Cell number please sir
You really ain`t gonna talk with us, huh??
No instructions nothing boooooooioo
8:20 that doesn't look like 20 sq ft/tube to me.
Is this product good to apply veneer stone to exterior brick
What's the point? Can't see this being used for anything real structural, maybe a garden planter box
Hey, is that a polyurethane glue ? I'm trying to figure out if I could use a Synthetic rubber glue (cheaper), but there appears to be exactly zero information on the internet.

Electricians hate him for this one simple trick! @1:26
Yeah.
what is the value in square meters?
NO Talkie, I no Watchie!!!
fantastic ! not even dust! I love it, amazing , really impressed, no dust at home fabulous
Good idea! But I see the joints are not full!!! Do you use masonry glue or cement mortar?
It said comfortblock..... i dont think its a load-bearing wall....
Good work
Watching this was a complete waste of time since the video does not state what product it uses on the wall.
It looks to be kalkote base. You can see the blue and white bags sitting in the background
Hi, do you use same material for outside walls?
Anyone have any bright ideas how to continue a cut like this around the inside of a 90* corner around a wall?
Is the the wall primed with a damp sealer first or just skimmed over
That looks expensive.
Are these only for non load bearing blocks?
I need to do something similar to my house for 3/4” conduit but running vertically through 8x4x16 blocks. I’m a little concerned about weakening the wall before I can have it refilled with mortar after the conduit is installed. Any insights?
What's the R value of a 16" wall?
एसएससी ब्लॉक पर पीओपी कितने दिन चलती है
Kya se plaster kr rhe ho bhai
This block is dry stacked?? Where is the mortar?
I think they are glued with a PU-ish stuff...
Beautiful, he is a TRUE ARTIST!
That looks pretty straight-forward. What's it like to live with? If you fall and hit your head against that wall, how does the injury compare to if you hit a plasterboard wall?
Who makes their wall choices based on if they fall and hit their head 😂😂
@@jaymcbakerk Well it could be families like mine, with heritable tendencies to low blood pressure, dizziness, and fainting. But also it could just be families like mine who tend to live to 100+ and have a higher risk of falls in old age.
@@jaymcbakerk It sounds funny, but the thought has crossed my mind.
Maravilloso!!!!
That wall looks like is a demonstration wall, he doesn’t use that foam like glue on the sides of the blocks, the whole video is a disgrace, no explanation, no subtitles, no product information. WASTED TIME !!!

Kerja yang bagus or good job👍
Useless video without knowing what glue you’re using
Kya AC block construction ke liye skilled labour available hai ? Andhra pradesh me?
putty without plaster
Tool price Kay ha
what foam adhesive is that??
How much of the strength of a wall does that eliminate?
The channel will be filled in with mortar after. The wall is also 16" thick (406mm). So, a small channel will not really affect the strength
@@comfortblock ik. In a filled wall, that make a lot of sense. Thank you.
Clean perfect work 👍

What I want to know is how are you powering an expensive German tool on America power? It's been a minute since I lived in Europe, but I'm thinking they are 50hz not 60hz.
Sorry for the delayed response. The company will wire it appropriately for the U.S. Ours runs on standard 110V
How much does the adhesive cost for a wall 8ft high by 12 ft long?
I would imagine more then morter.
