The Grampians in Victoria was so Impressive! We explored this area over a few days whilst we stayed at the amazing Lakeside Tourist Park in Halls Gap. We were able to hike up Hollow Mountain, see the majestic Mackenzie Falls and cool off in Venus Baths.

Rottnest Island day trip to see the quokkas - Western Australia 2018

Rottnest Island has been high on our list and it (Didn't disappoint!) It was an amazing experience to hire a bike and ride the 22km trek around the island, we saw the quokkas who truly are the friendliest creatures on the planet. The quokkas are so used to human interaction and we really enjoyed visiting them. We highly recommend Rottnest island to anyone visiting Western Australia.

Kalbarri in Western Australia really took our tribe by surprise in a great way! This clip captures what Kalbarri has to offer with everything from Natures window to the coastal cliffs and pink lake we were in awe. Bloody awesome van guys, I’m looking at a 2016 family flair, are you happy with all the quality of the van?
So Happy with it Steve. The only thing we would like to change is to have more spare time to spend in it haha. The quality is amazing, Royal flair in our opinion are a step ahead of the majority of manufacturers. We felt Lotus were probably one of the only others in the same field.
Ride with our tribe thanks mate good to hear, we bought a brand new van last year but had a bad experience with poor quality so we ended up selling it , Lotus are awesome but unfortunately my budget doesn’t extend that far haha , yours would be around $130,000 ish ??

Hi Megan, im so glad you enjoyed the video. We absolutely love our caravan, we just got back from a 3 week Qld trip which was our first real maiden voyage. This trip did allow us to feel what its like to live in and the space is amazing. The only thing we would add in or do different is more shelving space for towels/clothes in the bathroom. Check out Free to explore on instagram, they have their new van and have some built in wall niches in the bathroom which solve this issue. The only other problam is we want to use the van more than we are allowed to with work commitments haha.

Thanks Justin, we had a great time crossing the Nullabor and that old homestead sure is creepy. I hope the weather has cooperated for you. This fire season has been shocking, we have just finished travelling inland from QLD to Vic and back trying our best to avoid the fires. Pretty safe the way we went just a lot of smoke.

Another great video guys. Loved the music to this one. Who does the editing and what firmware do you use? I'm currently playing around with Final Cut Pro which is pretty amazing. I purchased my Mavic 2 last year and love playing around with it. Can't wait to start my own UA-cam channel.

We are just in the beginning stages of planning this trip with a 3 and 6 year old. Great to see it’s doable. What time of year were you guys there. 😁
Hey Marc it's definitely do able and you will know your limits as you progress through different gorges. Good to start out on dales gorge and then move across to see the class 5 gorges out near the Eco retreat. We were there on the dry season around Aug/September. If you need to know any more as you get closer to the trip feel free to message us.
Love the drone shot in the beginning. What camera are you using for vlogging?
Thanks we use a mavic pro drone, a Sony 4K video camera and a Hero 6 Go pro, plus sometimes footage from a Samsung galaxy 9 phone

Thank you, agree the sound let it down. We were using a mini mic that's linked to the camera for the outside van video but it was facing down instead of up 😑, lesson learnt though

This is actually really interesting to see how you live. I personally would love to do something like this for an extended period but Joyce gets pretty car sick while we’re driving so not sure we could do it. But this video makes me want to so bad. Looks awesome.

Hi Katie, when we did the tour we had stopped in Melbourne for a month over Christmas so we were able to give the van a good clean and re pack. We have used a few storage ideas (shoe holders, extra pull out containers under bed etc.) All of that has helped but to be honest we still find after a few days we need to do a decent clean again.
Thanks for showing us your home! It's so nice and spacious! love how you say that you got the third bunk "just in case" lol. It was a great idea though so the kids have a good play space and to store toys!
