Maybe you can help me. The product description on Neewer's website says, "Damping friction control and counterbalance allow fluid and comfortable camera positioning." Do you know where the dampening controls are? I know the handles rotate, but this seems like it is mainly to unlock the head movements. Rotating them more doesn't make the head movement any faster or stiffer.
there are two other controls (one on each part) labeled as "lock or unlock". i think that is what it is referencing to. I will make a video this week on it..I like it for the price that it is going for right now at %60 off but you need to check the weight of your set up. I use a a7cii and sigma 16-28 so that is only 2.6lbs

Not yet. I am finishing up a blog on the Helios 44-2 Serial lens with Sony A7CII/SonyA7II. I will probably jump back to 44m KMZ and MMZ next month with street shots and a video.
