Dava Giustizia is a pianist/composer from Surabaya, Indonesia. After completing his study of Jazz Composition and Performance at Berklee College of Music in mid-2023, Dava aims to further expand his musical horizons in his homecountry. Dava refers to his musical character as “bittersweetly energetic,” influenced by, but not limited to, names such as Dream Theater, Casiopea, Chick Corea, Billy Childs, and many others.
Dava views his works as fragments of his journal; a record from his perspective about the things happening around him, with the aim of inspiring listeners to understand and acknowledge themselves and their emotions deeper, so that they can understand their fellow humans and appreciate one another.
