I think you have the raiding and skilling groups backwards at 24:00, your skilling friends stay in town and just keep on doing what they know, and the group that goes to college are the people who raid and enjoy the more social aspects of the game doing group content and pvm, and end up making new friends.

Old player here (from year 1 of "classic") Here is some advice. Watch some guides first. Second get the zoom prepared ahead of time you want to be able to see Jad but little else, tilt the camera if needed. Try save yourself 1 prayer restoring pot for the end, before Jad comes out fully, or close to, restore your prayer. Avoid prayer flicking, just leave protect from ranged or mage on, switching ONLY when you see the telegraph. There are also safe spots you can flinch from if your having a lot of trouble. Dont see dying as wasted time, see it as practice and as better learning the waves and Jad. Frustration doesn't help If anyone is having trouble still and needs help let me know and I can get on at an arranged time and assist. My osrs account is relatively low (long story but I do know osrs pretty damn well). RS3 I know even better and max level. Can loan out gear via either, using loan system. Potentially can provide some basic supplies. But biggest advice, dont get frustrated, stay nice and calm, hell log out just before the Jad wave so when you next get on your calm, refreshed and ready to go.

There's a similar problem to your barrows music gripe. Every time a skill levels up the song restarts too! Holy moly that music map really shows off how fragmented the kandarin area is.... jesus.

My weekly ritual at this point

I remember jumping down a whole flight of stairs (succesfully, nobody worry) at the frustration of trying to do the digsite quest as a kid. Then when I was 19 I got my first fire cape after 6 attempts, I ran out to the living room and threw myself on the ground all splayed out in relief that I finally did it. Let all my roommates and friends know, they had known I was trying through the journey. Felt so good. Probably wont be as much fanfare when I eventually try the Infernal cape though

I think isle of souls works because it's mostly optional. It's extra content, just a nice scenery not taking space from anything else but gives something a little unique for those who want to explore. Some of it's resource nodes are a little better than mainland, but practically everything it offers is obtainable from other sources. The clue steps that have you run around a lot are a bit annoying but that's my only gripe about the island existing as it is. Emptiness didn't work for kourend because you're heavily incentived to travel there. I'm very glad about its redesigns. Great video, I love the design minded approach.

Love the video as a whole. But I have to heavily disagree with the Varlamore world map comments. There is a LOT of lore for that area already. All we need is it to be implemented. Theres even been concept maps shared already of what it will likely look like. The entirety of the Varlamore area has been very well thought. Even if its just a black void right now. It does not bother as theres a good view on what they want to do with it. Menaphos however.. Well yeah.. I hope they continue that after Varlamore is finished together with some Dwarf/Goblin quests.

For teleports there's the Shortest Path plugin, it's a little wonky sometimes but it usually does the job. Just install it and right-click on the world map to set target.
