Inspired by channels like Sail Life and Life is like sailing. We decided to buy a sailboat of our own.. we found this mighty fine maxi 84 in sweden.

Cityletter Werbetechnik und Außenwerbung thx, and really great work yourself. Looks fantastic!!! LWL x (Width + Depth) x 0.50 = underwater area. The depth is from the waterline to the bottom of the keel. On this 28foot boat the underwater area was approximately 15 m2. Cant remember exactly how much paint i used. Just that i bought just the right amount, according to the paint specification.

Well done! What did you use to fair the keel? Did you do it on bare metal?
carlos barrera thx and yes i faired on bare metal. You will need an epoxy based primer or filler. And you need to make sure you stripped all paint and rust before applying. Either grinding or sandblasting. In this case i used hempel epoxy filler for fairing, and then i gave it 5 coats of hempel lightprimer. Also epoxy based.
