Thanks for posting! The chinchillas may not like the noise, but I love jets. The 50s thru 60s were a golden period for flying fighter aircraft. The century series are well represented in this short. The air show was shot at either Nellis or George AFB. The Millville base is actually the Van Nys airport. It is not March AFB as some reviews state on the web. The runway numbers confirm that it is VNys. The planes on the ramp are from the CANG unit stationed there. 115th and the 195th Fighter Squadrons were designated as Fighter Interceptor squadrons at the time of filming. The F-86 Sabre jets are shown in the scramble at the beginning of the short. It's fun to watch this movie to see the wide inventory of experimental aircraft, fighters and bombers and transport aircraft at that time. I haven't seen this short in decades, thank you for taking the time to post!

Still trying to figure out who the F-86Ds belonged to in the movie.

Great movie, I saw this years ago, I would like to get a copy of it. My Dad used to fly F-86D/L out of George AFB with the 329th FIS. This was filmed at Hamilton AFB, (opening scene) and Van Nuys Airport when the California ANG was flying F-86s. Units are 148th Fighter Wing, with both with the 115 Fighter Interceptor Sq. (Green Flash on tail) and the 195 Fighter Interceptor Sq. (Red & White Flash on tail). The airshow at the end of this movie was filmed at Edwards AFB. Note: Flight test center emblem on most of the aircraft. Plus the terrain is quite different from other clips in the movie.

I think it would’ve sounded better if they said Merry Christmas and Happy Hunnakah to each other instead of themselves! Harry should’ve said Merry Christmas Marv and Marv should’ve said Happy Hunnakah Harry and put all the Hs and Ms together.

It's so rare to find a soundtrack without any lyrics for an anime movie. Especially one that gives the vibes of the mystery and wonder that reminded me of Night at the Museum. Feels nostalgic even though I only just watched the movie recently.

What’s very funny about this scene is that the chest Marv is trying to open is see-through from the side, he already knows how much money is in there but looks surprised when he opens the chest lol

I notice that unlike the previous releases, the tape reel isn’t comedically large to hold enough magnetic tape for the video but rather its the usual smaller reels you’d expect from a blank tape enough to record hours of footage depending on record speed. I wonder if there’s any easter eggs at the end of the tape or if it’ll cut to blue at the very end. EDIT: Someone uploaded the full videotape onto UA-cam, it includes bloopers and commentary which are both available on Scott’s Stash. That explains the difference.
