I'm a life-long Sacramento Kings fan who grew up hating Kobe Bryant because he kept kicking our ass in the playoffs year-in, year-out...but watching this video, I gotta say, to hell with Bruce Bowen. The pain on Kobe's face at that 4:05 mark when Bowen steps on his wrist - nobody deserves that. (Well, except maybe Bruce Bowen). Yeah, shit happens in a basketball game, but there comes a point where you have to have *some* sense of honor and respect for the fact that these are people's bodies and careers on the line.

Four best players from this draft are Devin Booker, KAT, Kristaps Porzingis, and D'Angelo Russell. Then there are some great role players like Cam Payne, Myles Turner, and Bobby Portis who are solid players that can be a starter/sixth man.

Bowen was accused of more dirty plays than he actually did. I can name quite a few others that played the same way. For starters Sam Cassell, Gary Peyton, and Ray Allen....

Here’s the secret to Kristaps I think: he never needed to build up muscle to be good right away, because muscling people was never part of his game before the NBA. You watch those highlights and yes, he’s scoring inside, but he’s doing it with his agility and length, not by doing what Darko Milicic did which is being back to the basket and trying to back people down. Because that style works overseas but not across 2000’s eastern conference NBA centers. But Kristaps’ agility and length were going to be superior against positional opponents in any league he played in.
