I'm 44 lived here fish here my whole life! watched UA-cam videos on shasta since UA-cam started and this is definitely One of my favorite breakdowns of Shasta Lake pre fishing and just fishing shasta in general! especially for somebody who's never seen it ! the eagles out here are awesome if you find where the eagles are fish there! Will you be posting video of the tournament? glad you like our lake! You'll have to come up here and check out Trinity And whiskey town for some monsters!

Next Shasta Lake trip, you should visit Whiskeytown lake nearby. Totally different vibe. Last couple visits, along w/ some Kokanee, a 17 & 20 inch Rainbow, and bass, I landed a 7 1/2 pound Pike Minnow. Pulled my kayak around like a toy.

Nah they're Pike minnow on shasta and whiskeytown (6lbers) , on the river they're still squawfish ! 😂 kill a squaw save a hundred salmon!

It is hard catching them from shore at lake pleasant until they move into shallow creeks come November when the water cools. Maybe try fishing inside the main harbor guys fish at night this time of year

My striped fishing buddies love these lures. Our largest stripers from Pleasant at 10 to 15 lbs,were caught on Big Luhr Jensen Crockodile spoons, Striper Hair jugs, some stripers were eating crawdads,We get 10 lb fish on Super Spooks on Thanksgiving week, Castle and Humbug creeks
My 9 yr old Son got a 10lb Bass in a school of stripers on a Zara Puppy at 1702 sign:))))We have 30 yrs of Documented catches:)))

No, you will have to have an ethernet port to run active target. The Elite FS 9 will have the port though.

LoL was at the Lake In the summer 112* floating around just mainly chill'n with the wifey,, brought my spinning Rod made some cast here an there while floating around ... no bites ,,, but Luv The Lake!!! ( from north central Calif. Motherload Lakes & Ca Delta area )
For sure! Lake pleasant can be a challenge but it you hit it at the right times you can catch numbers or quality
