A most lovely song about Jesus that soothes my melancholy heart.♥️🌟♥️

There is an interesting mention of this song in a book that I am currently reading. The book is called "Flash: the homeless donkey who taught me about Life, Faith and Second Chances" written by Rachel Anne Ridge. In the book she had just lost her baby son that died just shortly before he would have been born due to the trauma of her having been in a head-on car accident. She was given one day after receiving the news that the baby had died before she had to go in and have induced labor to deliver the baby. It was about that night she wrote: "It happened when the old clock radio next to my bed clicked on at a time no one had set it for. As I struggled to figure out why the radio was on at that strange hour, a song by Fernando Ortega began to play. 'Jesus, King of Angels' *poured over me like warm honey*. That's the only way I can describe it. I weighed a thousand pounds and could not move as the words gently dripped down into my soul and pooled there. The lyrics reminded me that the infinite God of the universe is mindful of each sparrow that falls. My baby. Oh, my little one. He was mindful of all the anxious thoughts that filled me and He would be with me and keep me in His peace. The final notes of the guitar faded..." How precious is this song--that God used it to ease the suffering of someone facing such a tragic and devastating loss!!

I just heard this for the first time while listening to Pandora. When I realized it was a good night prayer I started to cry. I've always ALWAYS had troubling dreams. I'm gonna listen to this daily and learn it.

Jesus - KING of ANGELS!!! - Such a Beautiful title of the Lord. He's indeed the king of angels!! When we'll be transformed, we'ld all be like angels and Jesus will be our FOREVER KING!! And what's more beautiful He created those angels he's the king of!! But alas, because of the spiritual wickedness of some fallen angels, we've this fallen world and the serpent race. But at the end, we'll be with our Lord forever!!!

I first heard this song just after my son died. It brought tears of cleansing and healing. That was six years ago. Now as I reminisce, I listen again. I still weep, and give thanksgiving that Jesus is King... and He breaks the power of death and gives eternal life!

This is my favorite bedtime prayer song and my child likes me to sing it to him as he falls asleep.

My loved one is passing due to covid. He will be with Jesus. I can't be with him in the hospital. I sang this over him in my heart.

Love this song so much.I used this Song to Calm me when I am scared and anxious.

So every night as a kid my dad would sing this to me before I went to bed. Most kids just do the Lord's prayer or something simple like that, but every single night dad would come in and maybe read a bed time story maybe not but always, always, always, we would sing Jesus king of angels together. And it just touches my heart every time I listen to it. Not only the nostalgia, but just the prayer within always gives me a sense of safety and peace. I especially listen to it when I'm having trouble sleeping because it just brings me to a fortress that only the Lord could give me.

FLASH!!

Just heard this lovely song sung by Fernando this evening in concert in Brighton, Michigan. There were about 150 in attendance in an auditorium that could easily seat 500. What a shame to see so many empty seats. This song was his encore and was a lovely epilogue to a great performance.

Years ago I was plagued with night terrors and nightmares related to PTSD. My pastor and his wife gave me the single of this song and it has brought me so much peace and comfort.
