Why not change to non-ethanol fuel and cure your varnish problem. Higher octane will not break down as fast as regular gas. I do not run my generators for months at a time and do not have a varnish problem. Stable is not the answer.

This honda 1000.i is really quiet.. use for charging 12volt gel 100ah Battery. = the this battery powered 3000 inverter.. = van power many things.. its weak. But the weak is use great for battery charge

The EU2000 lists a cast iron cylinder, the EU1000 does not list cylinder material. I am rebuilding mine and a magnet has no attraction to the inside of the cylinder. possibly aluminum cylinder with a "hard coating"? Anybody know? I am suspecting that these do not last as long as the EU2000's

Wow! That's a lot of water left on your counter! My old Shark hard surface steam cleaner doesn't leave anywhere near that amount, and it's just a old model (SE3306C) Canadian tire special. I can't find any specs on the old Shark's max steam temperature, but I definitely do not want to downgrade to a cooler one than what I had, and have it leave lots of water left over... and pay a lot more money for it to boot! I'm only looking to upgrade, because of the sharks very small tank. It only runs for 10-15mins before you need to wait to let it cool down before you can refill again with 2 cups max of distilled water. Not very efficient. (And I tend to lose MY steam while waiting. Lol) I assumed that the more expensive McCulloch would be way hotter and therefore vaporize a lot of the water. I had no idea it would leave so much! You may as well pour your boiling kettle water on the counter! Lol So thanks so much for taking the time to create this video! You just saved me over 400 dollars! (Canadian) I'll keep looking!

Only use premium gasoline which is ethanol free

All you have to do is drain your curb after every use

If you turn the on off switch to just above where it kills the engine, it will do what you are trying to do here.

OP doesn't realize his fuel bowl isn't filling up because his filter is clogged. I got 90 seconds with fuel off pulling 1500VA... That revving at the end is not what should happen, it should be more sudden. If it keeps fighting to stay alive then the fuel line or filter isn't flowing right.

Fuel stabilizers are horrible for these honda inverters especially... Avoid them at all costs, ethanol-free fuel is all you need it lasts for years despite what people say.

Next time load test the unit with something that is quite so we can hear the generator, maybe a space heater for example

Exactly, the customer already knows the issues or needs of their motor. Including your own so cleaning it, under those circumstances, is a very useful tool. I have a different type but they are still very useful instead of using a pressure washer which lets be honest, shoots very cold water which doesn't help lift or loosen caked-on dirt, grease, and oil as easily.

Have you tried any other brand steam cleaner? And would you recommend the 1385 opposed to the 1375?

I used Clorox Cling Toilet Bowl cleaner on the grout along with my McCullough 1270 steamer. Looks like brand new grout afterwards. Let the Clorox sit on the grout for 10-15 minutes before you use the steamer and then go to town. I did my floors in sections so I wouldn't have a huge mess. I wiped up each section with a towel as I went along, and then cleaned the whole floor afterwards with my steamer. This actually works.
