Meow! Slow NBN. Too many jobs, not enough time. Helen the Cow and FoodTech Photos.
It's a slow news week, we are having issues with our Wireless NBN. Slower than slow. Photos are of the lemon and chocolate cheese cakes that the kids made last week. Absolutely delicious. Always thankful for the 10% teachers tax that the kids need to provide to the cooking teacher. It's no wonder that I am currently sitting right on 120KGs. Go big back fatty McFatfat.

Xav discovered if you wedge your iPhone into the inside chin of your helmet it doubles as an action camera. He just needs to work on the angles a little more.

A few random thoughts while at the 4ths Football in Mulwala, I tested out the new external mic that I recent took delivery off, to me it sounds much better than the built in mic of the iPhone 14 but I need to remember to have the new mic pointed at my mouth for it to pick up the sound. Few new things on the farm, my eldest son while not interested in mechanics is keen on getting the 2005 Yamaha PW80 rebuilt so that we dont have to spend 30 minutes trying to get the damned thing started. Other random things are talked about. Its been a good start to the school term and I have hopefully made some progress with the Digital Technology curriculum that I will be teaching my year 9 ...

It has been 12 months since I was employed at my current school, straight out of the Charles Darwin University. I am very grateful to the staff and students who have made me feel incredibly welcome and given me a wonderful opportunity to teach and help others. We took a few days during the mid year holiday to head down the south coast back to where I was born. We stopped off for a night in Torquay to hit the outlet stores and picked up some bargains. Then we stayed a few nights in Port Campbell, doing a few day trips to Warrnambool, Logan's Beach for the whales (who didn't show up) and the Twelve Apostles.

My shameful example of a working (barely) home network. We do have plans to upgrade the system but as they say all good things come to those who save up and do their research. Biggest problem we have is the Wifi, we will get there though.
