Rip is still around Tulsa his being a dad and solid blue collar working man, and last time I heard he was still playing music . Just not out doing shows . Just recording but that was back in 2020 the was the last time I heard anything about him. I've tried keeping in contact with all the guys but none of them seem to care about things like that. I grew up since we were kids in school with Rip and Tony. They just have created their own worlds and though I have 5 kids and 7 grand kids my door has always been open to my life long friends. But life has a funny way of changing us humans. So anyways I hope that helps your interest and answers your question. Fist Razed High!

I've had 3 shops in Arkansas and Tulsa , but I kind of took a break after 30 years of drilling ink I burned out so I qui and have only tatted here and there over the last 5 years Anyways u have a good one and fist razed high.

Indeed we did. work hard, but sometimes there's one in the group that will self sabotage the whole groups effort trying to control things about others that's none of their business and they have no right trying to control.. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't experienced 3 times in 3 different bands with the same guy . It seems just about everyone I thought was down and loyal . Where quite the opposite . So many with the gift of gab or super talented and then others have to really work to find that hard earned success.,

I would do a reunion in a heartbeat but that'll never happen the other 3 are living there own lives and none of us talk to each other. As for Tony well that's a sad story. I've been waiting for him to come around. But his become very anti social and not at all interested in playing music with anyone. To me he is one of the best guitarist in the world totally underated . But he doesn't care about music the same way most musicians do. It's just a hobby to him. Not away of life. Tony played with me in Chuk Cooley & the Demon Hammers as far I know that was the last music he recorded.

In today's times whites aren't allowed to believe in each other nor themselves. In his case he had no one to stand up with him . To be really honest . I've only been done wrong by a shit load of white plp. No other color has ever done me wrong . If you look at where we are today , just look at a majority of the homeless in America 75 percent of them are white. I mean in the 55 years I've been alive . My point is Phil has no one to have his back when the rest of the world is conformed and supporting transgender 5 year olds and Olympians , Phil has the right to cry especially when they are threatening to destroy everything he has worked his ass off for. He has already been an. Escape goat for everyone else around him and somehow his. Still standing on top of the mountain a heavy metal king.. I didn't thank them on our album because they were white Southern boys like myself. That would be very shallow and that's not me.. I thanked them for saving heavy metal with all the odds against them . They dominated the world with their bad ass music. And be sure of Phil Rex, Zakk, and Charlie Pantera is saving metal again. Of course with Dimebag and Big Vin pulling strings from Heaven and having their backs to keep them going like they have for the last 2 years. Bringing people together world wide by the masses. Anyways there's just some of my thoughts on that silly ass question you asked. We fall short of doing our part. I made music that's after 29 years is still reaching people around the globe . We werent Nazis, thats complete idiocy to follow after a dead. Leader with a Charlie Chaplin mustache who killed himself cause he was a weak fuck . Rommel though was a different story he was a bad ass war hero. That Hitler had killed. Due to him being loved by the people. And Deutschland was a beautiful city filled with beautiful strong people that were innocent and beat into submission and then bombed.i had kin there when that happen so I sang about it. But that didn't make me a neo Nazi. But the world is not right . And it's easy to get lost when 99 percent of the world are crazy and lost living by the edge of their silver tongue lies . Sorry for the diatribe brother. Simply I'm just a Southern man that just so happens to have the color of skin that the world around me hates. There's no loyalty, integrity, real love, no one's listening , everyones just babbling drama queen stories from their pathetic little nothing life. I think there's a lot more to be questioned than one of the greatest heavy metal frontman to ever live. To me I've never been one to hate on others . When I was younger I hated myself. I've always learned from others no matter what there race. See the thing about me is I love women . LoL And women of all kinds and being that I'm part Black foot Injun and I love that part of .y heritage.. I used Berserkr as a stepping stool . I mean hell I got out of prison in may of 1993 and was a part of Berserkr with in 8 months and with we where signed in 10 months .they signed us as Mtbb but half way through writing the songs I thought were nothing like Mtbb this was some far more different , bigger and much more versatile.. so pretty much I demanded that we change the name the guys Rip and Tony the 2 from MTBB they agreed this was something that wasn't just about our culture but it was about change,evolution and having the courage to change. Southern Vision was the first song we wrote together and then Bitter Harvest. But anyways my point was when you have a record company offering to sign you and put your music world wide you jump on it. And I don't regret doing it one bit . I get mail from all over the world on how Berserkr changed their life and was an inspiration.. So I got what I wanted out of it. I found change. Not only mine but those listening. The only catch with the record company was it was part of the contract that we do one MTBB song a remake. I never sang the word Ni**er in the song justice when we performed live. The crowd would sing it and I usually would say scum where that word was at in the song. But that's neither here nor there those. Those songs were all about history even the song Justice. But if you look at the words we describe what that N Word meant to us. It was a person that stole from or dealt drugs to their own kind. Instead of getting out of prison and then finding a way back to prison I found away to stay out of prison. And I've stayed out for near 32 years. Music and art saved my life and it gave me a place to vent anger, hate,love,pride, frustration, it helped me find my own voice and what I really believed

@ChukCooley No need to apologise my friend and many thanks for taking the time to reply. Means a lot. Love what you've been doing since Berserkr by the way. Still digging metal, punk and hardcore all these years on but as these bones have got older, have come to appreciate country, folk and Southern rock all the more. Probably to do with the Scots-Irish Hillbilly in me (other infusions in the bloodline too). The mountain folk did so much to shape what became rock 'n' roll but don't seem to get the credit for it. Much blessing to you and all your kin Chuk.
