A Winter Day On A Minnesota Dairy Farm!
This is one of my favorite videos you have. I've watched the whole thing at least 5 times!
well-done! gr8 activity... uRock
Idiot cubes
We have a new holland 68 baler on our farm. Just like your baler, we got to the last winrow, and it had problems. We spent a week working on it. We finally got it fixed though.
Thanks Bryce The windguard on your JD is safer than the one on my NH baler, keeps you further away from the pickup. I have to rebale tie failures. Interesting you have too much moisture and I usually struggle for moisture. Great you showed us how it really is, you haven't baled until you have jammed one. Like the idea of spreading the bale to repress it. Keep the strings from the big bale out of the small baler.
What does a small bale sell for? Is the bale all grass hay?
I’ve been selling small hay bales for 5$ and it was all grass.
it is hard baling straw that has been big square bales in to little bales , but you saved some money for a bit of work , well worth doing , have to save when ever you can
Nice job save where you can
I talked to your grandmother a couple of days ago and he told me that you were re-baling some large squares to small squares, and I was hoping that you would drop a video. Always great when one shows up in my feed. Thanks for posting. One of the perks of subscribing.
Good idea. Spreading them out makes it easier on u to bale.
Great to see you on You Tube again....one question....When are you going to marry that girl? You will NEVER find another girl that pretty who is a hard worker like she is! McKenzie is a keeper. Take it from an old man, when you find one like that you don't leave it on the line too long.
Good evening Bryce. The days all blend together... Small bales are a necessary evil... But we've gone years without them.. we handle big bales every day, they're just not as convenient in the barns for bedding... Our small baler is an inline, not as easy as an offset for doing what you're doing.. but we used to do it with the old New Holland balers. Safest way is use a pitch fork.. and don't try to hold on to anything moving in the baler!! Interesting the damp air would affect it so much out of a "dry" bale.. Lmao 😆😂.. if the twine slips off that easy.. it's too loose.. Time is free.. lol.. otherwise we'd never have any money..
Great video man. I always enjoy watching them.
That is a awesome video thank you.
My dad's friend started out this way in 1982 "the kid" now a grown old man has acquired 3,000 tillable acres and and endless inventory of equipment and several farm estate purchases . Originated from 2 small grain bins, rented gravity flow wagons and a 1978 Ford F250. The choice is yours!
Great to see you building your business!
What a great team. Look at you guys go! Thanks for sharing Bryce and you will work out what works and improve what you do, it is called farming.
Doing a great job Bryce, working with a nutritionist and trial and error is always the best way to learn.
That’s awesome
good to have the equipment you need ready for when you get more cattle and have it ready to go , , I would say with your Ration make sure you keep the protein levels up in the food , if you don't get that right when they are calves you will never have a good animal when they are growing , and the bit we saw of your claves they look fine , keep making these vids please love seeing what your doing with your little enterprise
Nice job Bryce little at a time going in the right direction. Great video
Livin' the dream! Always good to see what you're up to and that you continue to learn and grow. Thank you.
Bryce keep on doing it you will learn by trying it tilt you find the way it works for you are doing awesome job Bryce 👍👍👍
I love ur entrepreneur spirit. U are doing great with ur calves. They look awesome
Great job young man
Great to see you again! Still moving ahead. You are a worker, Bryce!
If you can find yourself in home then mix that feed right up your mind😊
i have a 4955 ffa version and i took it to show to my teacer and a kid was messing around and broke the stack and air cleaner off
We had a pigeon problem, 2 guys came at dark, went up in the barn with long poles with an apparatus at the end to catch them, they caught 83 in about 2 hours, they took them alive, the next morning only saw 7 left, lots of less crap up in the barn.
practice makes perfect... thankYou for taking goodCare of your tractors 🚜🚜
great video!
I wish I lived closer, I still have the homemade hay grapple I made for the skid steer where you can gather 10 bales and load on the trailer. At least you got the bale basket wagon in the end.
as always love your vids Bryce , that's a lot of hay of that small patch of ground and looks some nice stuff to , Good to feed a few calves if you get some and yes that grass you left be good for a bit of bedding , that just what I do with grass like that with the weeds and thistles , its surprising what they will pick out of it too , , It needed tedding out when its a heavy crop like that the rake does just roll it up and it does not dry very well , Great that you have so many Subscribers now , I remember when you first started and you were just getting going a few year ago , love to see how people like what you post , keep going great stuff enjoy seeing what your doing , love the sound of your truck to
Tough day to do that kind of work with the humidity that day. Glad you got it in before more rain. Tough girl you've got there too, loading bales in shorts.
Great video Bryce little squares are hard work .good calf feed
G’day Bryce from Phillip Island Australia 🇦🇺
Good to sèe u worked with ur shirt off got rid of ur farmers tan. Too bad u didn't use the wagon from the start
Yes that sounds like a good idea but I wanted the majority of the bales up at my place so stacking them on the trailer made for a faster trip. Thanks for watching!
Greetings from Tennessee, Bryce. 🎶
Wish I would have been warm time spent in and around the cleaner combine knock it out corn. Combining corn is the funnest job on the farm in my opinion. The second is planting corn
Seems to be alot of waste blowing past wagon.
Nice that all the neighbors in the community grab keys old piece of iron and just cruise , nice to get away without making a big ordeal about it ! You Guys , look like tou were on an Adventure - Take the " Scenic Route 😁
