I bought a few adapters off Amazon (bad place, I know, but the only one I found) and it seems they are all limited to 1 TB. I am using a Mojave installer USB. So, should I just get a Sintech adapter?
hi… I can only talk from my own experiences … my combination worked for me… what I have found out is that when companies limit the recommended card (sd for example) in devices or hardware, it was done at a time well before the advert you are seeing… for example my dash cam says limit only 32gb… I have a 512gb in there… apple literature state only a max of 1tb in my MBP.. I have a 2tb in there… I realise that might not be the case for everyone, but at least with Amazon you can send it back….

@@Ragnemalm tell me what issues your are having exactly and i will try and help you… I found the order of events frustrating as it took me 3 attempts… all of which takes ages… its a test in patience (for me at least)
@@bearsadventures666 Thank you for the response! What happens to me is simply that the Mac won't recognise the SSD. It works just fine with a 1TB SSD, same adapter, same brand (Kingston). The 2 TB SSD works perfecly in an external exclosure. I tried, just like you, the online restore function, and it didn't work, of course. But I also tried installing from USB, 10.14 to be exact, and it still doesn't see the SSD, neither the installer or the disk utilties.

A chronic problem with this lens after a year or so is barrel jams, so no more zoom and Nikon won’t fix it even though they know they built it wrong. Cost $500-700 to fix. This made me jump to Canon after being a Nikon user for 30 years.
I have a Macbook Pro Retina 15", Late 2013 (A1398) and I am considering to replace SSD. I heard that almost every MacBook has standby/autopoweroff/hibernation mode issues after replacing the factory SSD with a NVMe drive (except for the 2015 model maybe). Did you experience any issues with standby/autopoweroff/hibernation mode using this Intel SSD? Is the Intel ssd 660p m.2 a NVMe type? Thanks.

Hello I have the same and i tested on a mixer connected to an amplifier but it worked without puting the usb power supply i only connected the jack 3.5 mm to an 6mm directly to the mixer.. how this is possible. Can you please explain it to me. Many thanks in advance for ur feedback

I'm trying to do the same thing and have the same Mid 2014 15" Macbook Pro. I'm using a Crucial P2 2TB but my issue is that disk utility won't recognize the new internal SSD and only lists disk0 so I can't partition it!
Hi, thanks for commenting…. Crucial M.2 does work as a friend of mine has one …(1TB)… admittedly not 2tb but there should not be a difference…. Ill look into this and get back to you.
@@bearsadventures666 Sorry mine is a 1TB as well (wish it was 2TB!). It's very weird and I thought it might not have been snug enough so removed the HD and tried to install it again with the Santech adapter and still nothing shows up on my disk utility. I saw another video where you can go into terminal and try diskutil list but the new HD still wasn't showing up there. For now I just put my OG Samsung 256gb back in but I thought this would be a lot simpler to do lol

Hi…. Yes there is a notable difference in overall speed… even in FCP… It’s about 45-55% quicker

Hi... I have bootcamp and it copied everything back in there for me..... However... (AN I MEAN HOWEVER)... On two occasions it did not... I would suggest back up specific file related to boot camp.. Hope that helps mate.

@@mhess427 That’s a really good question… As I was wanting to make the partition larger yesterday as my son wished to have an experiment….. All it let me do was to make a further partition.
I am in the process of upgrading my wife's 2014 16" MBP. I downloaded Bug Sur from the Mac Store. Opened it and installed it on my Samsung 980 NVME using a $30 NVME Enclosure from Amazon. Then I elected for Migration Tool during setup so its in the process of cloning right now. Here's hoping it works. If so it may be a little easier than this process.

What specific Rode microphone is that? I have the Me-L and an iPhone 13 pro and I can’t get sound. If I swap the directions of the SC 7 cables the sound is terrible.

Hi ty for the question… Laptops, certainly in my experience, all seem to differ from each other…. I would suggest check the spec sheet on your ASUS… These Ram modules are too large for a laptop.
I use my RODE SC4 TRS to TRRS adapter cable to send a signal into my iPhone via iMovie and it works with iPhone Xs and iPhone 12, iOS 15.4.1. HOWEVER, today it stopped working randomly so after much troubleshooting I THINK I FOUND THE ISSUE AND IT IS NOW WORKING. I believe the signal input has to be a specific state, which is balanced, (I'm 50% sure haha). For good measure I would close the app your wanting to record into and then plug you adapter in with all cables connected and go to iPhones settings. "Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety>Lightning Adapters> Current Adapter> Connected to Headphones (TOGGLE THIS OFF)". Then open the app you want to use and try that. This is how I record my drums so that I get a fully mixed audio / video recording directly into my iPhone so I only have to do very little post editing. I use Logic to mix my drums before hand and am able to play with music tracks or whatever from iTunes or another source, while hearing the fully mixed drums and music in my in-ears (which is the same mix the video ends up getting in iMovie). My drums go into my computer via MICs that go to a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 --> USB into my Mac, which I use Logic Pro. The Mac headphone output goes to my mixer via RCA (mixer side) to 1/8" headphone adapter(Mac headphone jack). That mixer has the standard MAIN, Monitor, and Phones out. The Phones is routed to a cheap headphone amp via a stereo 1/4" to 1/4" TRS cable. On the headphone amp I use one output for my in-ears and the other for the output into my lightning to headphone adapter than to my RODE SC4 TRS to TRRS adapter, (as the audio source IN for a iMovie). This worked just fine until today. When I removed the stereo cable from the 2nd headphone output of my headphone amp and plugged it into the MAIN out of the mixer it worked. The MAIN output on the mixer uses a HOSA (YPP-136) stereo breakout - 1/4" TRSF to DUAL 1/4" in TRS. I noticed this output is much louder than the phones, which is weird to me but whatever. The headphone amp receives its signal from a 1/4" to 1/4" TRS stereo cable from the Phones on the mixer to a stereo input on the headphone amp. However, I am not sure why the MAIN out works and Phones out does not, maybe the Phones mixer output is unbalanced and the MAIN output is balanced? All I know is I recorded for hours today only to find out the mic on the iPhone was used instead of the line-in type function, so all that work is gone. I am so pleased you might possibly give it a go… Apparently no one method works exactly and apparently that’s Dow to how your MBP is set up… The hardware always works if you use what i use… The software sometimes might take 2 attempts.. I tried it a few times before I uploaded a video. But it does work.
Plug the cables in 'the right order' is the fix here? Give me a break. No wonder it's not working for anyone else.
Lol… yes… and if it doesn’t work it’s due to the apple update… i have both old and newest iPhones… 12/13 does not work.. the iPhone 7/8 works fine so long as u don’t update.
I’ve owned every iPhone since 7 plus, currently have a 14 Pro Max and still haven’t been able to get any Rode mic to work on any of them☹️
Did you have trouble with the recording playing back to you while everything is still connected? For some reason, I can’t get my recording to play back.

I tried everything, but not working too. I was happy with Samsung before I switched to iPhone. Really sad that in 2020 and Apple can’t fix such small problems
The new update stuffs up the most basic of operations it seems…. It does work with older iOS though.
It looks like it might work on my TV since it has very poor integrated speakers, but at least I can equalize the sound. So probably I'll be able to find the right tuning for mid/high range sound. Thanks for your honesty review on this product
Hi and thanks for the comment… Yes it should be compatible with most tvs… I believe you would be better off spending a little more and getting a better sound bar.
On my D810, the 200-500 was sharp, and had very good VR. I managed to get several sharp shots at 1/15sec, hand held. On the D850, the 200-500 is sharper than my 70-200 2.8 FL, but actually no lens is actually sharp on that POS

Hi James, to be quite honest mine feels how it should do…. I guess. I’ve not compared it to any others. If anything it’s a little stiff…. Nikon have obviously had some quality issues judging by what you are telling me. I promise I will make a full blown vlog with this lens in the field and express the concerns you have brought up.

Nikon certainly does not stand by the Shit they make/sell. I have had nothing but problems with a D850, that is only good as a Paperweight
