[Frequture] Demo: Patch Bank "Classic Poly Layers" for Waldorf Quantum/Iridium
These are all 100 patches from our new Waldorf Quantum and Iridium sound bank in one go. This package is called "Classic Poly Layers" and it contains pure VA sounds ("Waveform" oscillator model) for these awesome machines. Of course, all patches use mod-wheel and aftertouch.
The best: these patches are perfect for layering. Just put two of these sounds on both layers of the Quantum or Iridium to create a fat and complex sound. This way, you can create 10,000 (100 x 100) new and exciting combinations! These sounds are modeled after a well-known synth from around 1980.
Here you get a continuous mix of all patches, recorded directly onto three DAW tracks, without additional hardware or software effect processing - just pure Quantum MK1 (only internal effects)!

Hi, I purchased the simulator and found afterwards the Mac version is not compatible with OS X. I sent an email to support@frequture.net but got no reply in a week. So far I am using the html version and appreciate your work but I would prefer the standalone one.

@@frequture Super! I received the e-mail from Philipp with a link to the repacked archive and it worked perfectly. The standalone app is heavier on the cpu than the html version but the control sliders are more precise to set, I like both. Nice tool, I find it very useful in sound design. Keep on with the good work :-)

Hi again. I have landed on this channel before :) Congratulations on the release of the software. Can I inquire about how two modulation sources multiplied a re shown on the simulator? For instance, very basically,...if I multiply (modulate) LFO Saw at 11.2Hz. by an LFO Square source at 4.76Hz... will I SEE the resulting WAVE (resulting modulation)? or will I only see two different colour LFOs at differing rates OVERLAID upon each other? Thanks for any info!
Hi! Thank you for your interest! You wrote "modulate the LFO" which would mean a frequency modulation, not a multiplication. A multiplication with the modifiers can be simulated and you will see the results. But the software does not simulate a FM. You can check out my Blofeld tutorials 10, 11 and 12 on the channel "Synthesizer video service" to see the software in action ;)

A question about pricing. The prices on your website include VAT. Does your website automatically remove the cost of VAT if a customer is not in Europe? (FYI, I'm in Canada.).

Did you master/post process sound or it is straight from Waldorf?
No post processing, no external or software EQ, compressor etc. Directly recorded onto three tracks and rendered.
@@frequture Perfect thanks! Waiting for my Iridium yet. I also noticed most ppl make demos/play ambient all around,. I understand Quantum/Iridium can do those great, naturally. Yours steps out from just "mellow" only. I still wonder if it can do well in more "active" department, juicy leads, bold sequences and something you could tunes and melodies, not only pads. Wonder if you can demo for something not only ambient. TNX!
The sounds you describe are way too easy to create with a Quantum/Iridium. You can make them with two clicks. No need to use them as an example ;)

@Frequture Sounds so good! What Audio Interface did you use? My guess is Universal Audio. Anything that colors? Seems to be much more interesting soundwise than recording the Quantum via our RME Fireface. Or else it's coming from your awesome patches!

Hi! I think there are really a lot of VSTs on the market and I don't know how I could make something new here. I will rather focus on compositional level ;) What I'm planning is something which does not really exist at the moment.

First, I want to concentrate on making the patches available. Then, I want to provide a super easy SysEx uploader for the Blofeld (freeware). And then comes the next (big) topic, which I'm still working on.
