im just starting this. I downloaded Smapi. Step by step. Now in Smapi i clicked INSTAL and it said patching and then it asked if iwanted to install the Smapi Stardew valley. And i said Yes it worked. But as soon as i click OPEN it automaticcally Crashes and wont let me open the new stardew valley, even when i try opening through Smapi it auto crashes

I am thankful for your help but I believe you need to do a updated video SMAPI is up to 18.3.3 and the last time I did this it worked now it isn't and I sware iam doing it the right way but idk reach out at your earliest convenience

I have the official version and everything, I have my desired mods and its requirements in the mods folder, but everytime I try to open the modded game it always immediately exits, it doesn't even load or something, what do you think the problem is?

Ok so i put the extracted mods (spacificly the patch mod) into the mods folder with the vertual keyboard and comands that came pre-installed. My mods mods i add arnt being recognized, what could i of done wrong? Or is there any trouble shooting i can do for this?

Smapi installer works just fine but when i want to open The downloaded Smapi Stardew valley it instantly closes again. Someone now how to fix it?

A clunky alternative I tried is a ~$40 Huion drawing tablet. It's meant for a PC but can connect to your phone or tablet with an OTG cable. It's not a very portable option but the pressure sensitivity works. And you'll need something to hold your phone or tablet up so you can hold the drawing tablet.
