I adore the subtle subtle detail that the animators use to show you that Titus isn’t being affected in the same way as everyone else, if you look at the eyes of the other space marines as the demon uses its power on them you see how their eyes go absolutely wide open as if in complete panic and become completely black then look at Titus’s his eyes, they stay the exact same without any change at all. That is such good fucking directing and animation. Like it’s the subtle things that make or break things and this is peak.

Titus’s pupil doesn’t dilate the way the other’s do when the daemon trues to mindfuck them. It’s the little details.

i love how they show this robot swapping who he is. one question i have is how do any red eye robots have combat ability. the green eye is the only one who has "saved" his own file and transferred before death to keep his memory. the red one at 7.34 seems to have weapon skill out side of our primary robots skill. as well the sniper 11.11 was not green he was red when he shot revealing maybe another robots protocols being fried

40K's version of "death can have me, when it earns me"

i loved this episode but i mean the ending kind of hacked me off a bit.. yeah it seemed awesome etc.. but the more you watch it the more annoying i found it. If its a one way mission, then why would A, the space marines hang around after the greater demon was destroyed and not just leave? and B. go pick up a single dude who was destined to die anyway? Surely it would've been better to have some warp portal thing open up and spit him through it furthering the whole corrupted by warp thing, but nope, we've got a typical end for any action film. that don't get me wrong is awesome, but it literally makes no sense when we already know he's survived and is in another game. So what's the whole point of this? It's like releasing a tv show and showing a character's story arc, then releasing a book before it, and making it seem like he's going to die, we know he isn't so why bother? Why not lean into the whole chaos corruption claim? Its a real missed chance... and just a bad ending in general
