For taking the time for your Christmas message you chose to talk about today! “I doubt you’ll believe me”, and that’s OK…*I just want you to know that, “ just once 25 odd years ago; *(God himself spoke to me personally that night), when I was standing on the side of the road at 3am in the morning in the middle of nowhere south of Sydney hitchhiking for a ride. just when I was about too give up and find a place to crash-out for the night off the side of the road …*(I know for a fact that God-himself spoke to me personally right there & then that very night)! And for the record, “I have never heard voices in my head either before or after that night”, and have never had any mental problems of any kind in all of my years since! Know without going into too much information or I’ll be here for the rest of the day….*(I only wished I could explain), how it felt physically, mentally, & emotionally it felt that night hearing the voice of God himself… All I could possibly say to even try too explain what it was like would be too ask you to remember back the very first time one of your parents snuck up behind as a young child catching you doing the wrong thing that you just knew you were told not to do! *”To everyone today, as-well as adult both you and your parents laugh about today”! *Or maybe the first time your father gave you a smack over the back of the head to let you know he cares after you’ve done the wrong thing;”without actually using a closed fist”etc…Anyway; I honestly don’t think the real reason God spoke to me that night was for my-own benefit because for some strange reason I’ve always believed that there has always been something bigger than us ruling the entire universe! I think the real reason God stopped me right then & there that night was because the car that pulled around the corner and picked me up, “100% completely out of the blue that night”, just happened to be a priest on his way home who worked at a prison 300 klms away! *(Once again, can’t explain it don’t ask me)……Anyway moral of the story is don’t ever give up on God; *(Because no-matter where you happen to right now in your life; God never forgets exactly where you are, & what you can accomplish if you simply try)! Merry Christmas!

One thing I’ve started doing if I use a disabled toilet (obviously only in buildings where it’s just a disabled toilet) is un tying the pull cord from the pole. They should be touching the floor in the first place.

What a shame but at least you included women (making tea and coffee and looking after children), - it's a start after 2,000 years. Whoever signed off on this should be sent for diversity training.

What an appalling speech. Ideas based on feelings, cultural experiences taking precedence over what God says as how we are to assess what is true. Now we know from medical research people aren't born gay and that the causes are environmental, its easier not harder for the church to say that homosexuality, described for thousands of years as wrong, is still wrong. But repentance brings freedom

The very people (our bishops) who should be safe-guarding the truth of God's word are riding roughshod over it. The very people who should be points of unity are doing all they can to cause division within the Anglican Communion, within the house of bishops and at deanery and parish level. Instead of driving out error our bishops are driving it into the church. Lord have mercy.

I left the C of E a few years ago

,,,,,... The Church of England - a church of poofs and child-molesting priests. The Church of England is an organisation set up by the Act of Supremacy 1534 because of political reasons (King Henry VIII's nuptual problems about Anne Boleyn and resulting tiff with Pope Clement VII). The Church of England cruelly martyred faithful catholics in a horrible evil manner shortly after enactment of the Act of Supremacy. The Church of England is thus a bad evil organisation that has lost its relevance in snobbery and self-righteousness. Now we have an incompetent Archbishop of Canterbury that has managed to split the Church of England in respect of GAFCON; what an idiot Archbishop - he should be ashamed of himself and repent. In comparison, the Russia Orthodox Church is popular in Russia and the Russia state is against gay pride. The Russian Orthodox Church is faithful to the Bible and respects marriage to be a union between a man and a woman only, whereas the Church of England is heading towards fetishness and sodomy with its gay agenda. Good riddance if the Church of England fades into oblivion; few people will shed a tear for a deviant evil and dysfunctional pseudo-religious bureaucratic organisation, top heavy with excess bishops (there are more bishops now than there were in Victorian times - a cull of ineffective bishops is desperately required). Christians must return to the true Catholic Church and Orthodox Church and dump this terrible Church of England.

P.S I would say to all who are unhappy at the heresy of the C of E to leave it and find a faithful Bible believing and teaching church. Meditate on 2 Corinthians 4: v 14ff and 1 John 2: 15-17. This speech is deeply unscriptural. Love gay and trans people and show them compassion but don’t under any circumstances link a homosexual sexual relationship with scripture: Love the person; hate the sin.

This makes me so sad. I wonder what the martyrs Cranmer and Latimer would make of this? He talks of being influenced by modern society but it is a society steeped in sin and unbelief. So much for “loving not the world” (1 John 2 v15-17). This is not surprising though. The Bible warns of false teachers in Jude and 2 Peter 2. And the warning of Rev 3 v 1-5 applies too. I am not prejudiced as I experience attraction to my own sex as well as the other but the Holy Spirit has given me the grace to stay celibate as a single man. These liberal clergy don’t believe in the authority of scripture and that is why the whole thing is coming apart. It is inverse evangelism whereas instead of the church converting the world the world has conveerted the C of E. It teaches nothing but a vague deism. I have left the C of E for a Baptist church. Unless the C of E goes back to teaching the Bible, closing with Christ, believing he died for our sins, the need to repent and teaches the Bible it is finished and this is why C of E churches up and down the land are virtually empty. Conversely the evangelical churches in my area are packed every Sunday. God will call His own to him.

When you use such Demonic inspired phrases as "The Scriptures are to be INTERPRETED through the lens of love and compassion...". What is really being said is, "We spit on the unbroken, unchangeable BIBLICAL truth that marriage is between one woman and one man for life." Preaching sin is intolerant of God, un-Biblical, destructive claptrap meant to destroy those very people in need of reconciliation with God's wholesome and healing truths.

They have the nerve to wonder why their churches are empty. Not a true believer among them.

The Bishop quotes Jesus concerning good and bad fruit, but seems unwilling to accept the clear teaching of Jesus on marriage from the same gospel - Matthew. Good fruit is discerned by obedience to a scriptural way of life and service. I'd be interested to know what else he has changed his mind about? Abortion perhaps? The physical resurrection of Jesus? The deity and uniqueness of Christ? Atheists may bear some "good fruit",but will still be excluded from the kingdom.

The Bishop doesn’t seem to realise that true love involves guidance and discipline.

Hes fallen. His fruits and statements are revealing he is not of Christ.
