Same thing with the wife's Jeep. It has not had the same problem and it's been over a year now. Even through some off roading I didn't know it was capable of. Goes off road for at least 10 trips a year. Just wish they had bigger fuel tanks. Good luck!

The motor is Surpass 2420-5800kv... actually WAY too much power. Going to put it in a road car. I actually used Axial shafts to start it off. I found some super cheap ones off Amazon and put the Axial stuff back in my Axial. This was my first 16 scale. I think it's finally working well. Just going to be a pull rig for my RC boat after I finish my trailer.

For WPL replacements or upgrades, I use Amazon. There is also AliExpress.com. "Ali" is WAY less money, but shipping can take up to ONE month. Amazon is normally faster, but close to double the price on some things.

Sweet! Very nice. I had it tall and on the stiff springs for water clearance. Not often we have this much rain in Southern California. Now I'll get the soft springs that I already cut down a bit and put them back in.

Had a very bad experience with the dealership. Took it in for that, as well as the screen not turning on and the automatic start-stop was not functional. They found a super small crack in the radiator so they wanted to replace that as well. Stayed at the dealership for two weeks, 8 days waiting for a part that they said they had at the start. Got it back with finger prints all over, split fluids all over my engine bay and several tools. They 'found nothing wrong' with the start stop. Which was due to a bad aux batt. That I already knew was the problem which I replaced on my way home. And! They didn't even touch the evap system. Had to contact Jeep themselves for a refund. Then I made the video for the mechanics at the dealership to see how easy it was. Lol. I build and repair my own cars. Thought we might get a break by getting a new car. My 20 year old, 4 cylinder manual Honda is more reliable with +250K miles.

@@leighlanbrown9426 I hope it’s that simple. I feel like it’s the most obvious thing that would need to be replaced if your engine doesn’t have serious problems which that light would also indicate. If not for this video I would have no idea that was even a culprit or possibly could be. I would hope an Fn mechanic would know or the head of a service department

Thankfully I have a lot of "car guy" / off-road friends that told me. I too, had no idea it could be a culprit, until I was told. Had to help get the word out. I don't want anyone to go through what I did.

I actually removed the empty "trays" that are attached to the frame. I then drilled out holes to mount the motor case to the trays. I then just zip tied it on to make sure it worked. Now that I know it works, I will add servo horns to the inside of the frame to give the screws a hold. Dropping the motor case however, did take away ground clearance. Don't want to sound like an advertisement, but I do have a video going into more detail. Titled; "JJRC Q65/ WPL B36"
