Omg everything about this was dangerous and wrong. You didn't heat it up, You shot it 100 miles an hour into the back of its throat. I can't believe you didn't kill this bird. You need to delete this video before you show someone you to kill their baby.

yes i also shocked after watching this.
Its a very small syringe so no matter how fast you squeeze the formula only 0.5 ml come put at a time which is no where near enough to choke the bird and the bird is alove and completely healthy and happy today.

Bazza Bop once a day, try feeding the baby during the mornings. Make sure the crop (stomatch) looks flat before feeding! The crop should be empty!

hello! I have had a pair of mcaws, one blue and gold which is a male, and a Scarlett macaw which is a female. I've had them for about 6 weeks and they are very aggressive toward me. I keep them in the cage and they are still biting at me when I feed them through the cage. They have laid a couple eggs although they were all dead eggs, no baby was inside. Hello, sorry for the late reply. I see your problem but first I need to know a few things in order to get you started 1) when did you get these macaws, were they already above 10 months or below that. 2) Are they farmed? (Check for a silver ring around the foot area) 3)what is there diet? 4) how much time do you spend with them during the day? 5) and finally where is there cage located in your house Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as you reply :)
1) yes they are more than 10 months old 2)they do not have that ring 3) I feed them water, peanuts, different nuts and seeds sometimes and they have a constant supply of these fruity pebble bird food 4) I can spend around 4 hours with them because most of the time i am at school 5)the cage is located in my parents bedroom (they arent here very often so its empty unless i come in there and study with them)
+Zedo Pomart alright then, first off you'll need to locate their cage in area that recieved more traffic. Get them used to your hand because right now as of nature your hand looks like a predator to them. you can place you hand in the bottom of the cage 10 minutes day for one week and slowly proceed bringing your hand closed and closer. but remember it take lots of patients on creating *trust* with your parrot. Once you have mastered your parrot not being scared of your hand try bringing a treat near their beak area but not to close yet! you could use: mullet,apple slices, mango slices,or anything parrot friendly apart from what they have in their food dish.
+Zedo Pomart Also make sure that their cage is near a window, as parrots love to see the wild and get some sun! but they should still have a shaded area to cool off when they need. thier cage should be big and spacious enough so that when they stretch or move around none of their body touches the cage walls. (They should also have plenty of toys) Once you've finished that trust with your hand you may proceed to the next step! which is letting them sit out of the cage! by gently opening the larger cage door and calling them as you show your treats. slowly lead them to the cage door and let them sit there fir a while. the next day proceed this step again but the have the parrot *step up* onto your hand by placing ur arm or two finger a short distance away from their feet while the treat is still in your hands, so the parrot can reach the treat it will have no choice but to *step up*. (keep talking to you parrot while preforming these tasks.
