I notice you walk from wet asphalt to the sidewalk but no footprints. How does the asphalt not track onto the sidewalk? And no talking about what you will need to get started in seal coating (the title of the video) ....just talking between you two?

so when not in use you have to keep the brooms wet with water?

Put it in a pump-up sprayer for a much better job. And that acid will not remove grease, sorry.

I sealed my driveway this year. I did it all by myself. I bought and carried all the sealers, spread all the sealant, prepared the driveway and did two coats. I won't do it by myself again or maybe I will hire someone to do it.

How do you guys feel about hot rubber on residential driveways?? I will only put it on a driveway if requested by customer. And the customer has to look at a couple nightmare pictures I have of hot rubber crackfiller on 90 degree days. I want them to see the tire marks and how the sealer rubs off the rubber and leaves them with ugly black lines everywhere. I always tell my customers, “if you hate the look of the cracks, you are probably gonna hate the look of the hot rubber, because I can’t make them disappear”

I’m up in North NJ and yes, it’s been the slowest year since I started back in 2017

What seal coating product do you use? It seems to stay glossy and wet much longer then the sealers from the box stores?

Sounds like you guys stay busy. how long did it take you to build up a business of steady work? And $150 sounds crazy cheap even with a "neighborhood discount" .
