Alternatively, its a great home base - with affordable housing it allows you to spend your hard earned money on vacations, a cottage in the many stunning places to recreate within 1-2 hours drive (Grand Beach, The Whiteshell, Lake of the Woods, Hecla Island etc) or dining with some amazing restaurants for the foodies at heart.

Yes, but I visited one of this “impressive” American homes. The road it was on was great; brand new. All the others around…..some only 10 years old was absolute garbage. Thank God I was driving a rental and not my own car.

Weeping tile and landscaping prevent any sort of issues like this - The courtyard feature really brings the outside indoors with so much natural light. It really is a very cool feature.

It’s not a waste of money, we used it ON the city
